QUOTE (OilCan @ Aug 17, 2010 -> 12:17 AM) Has anyone seen the red band Pirahna 3d video yet? NSFW, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Yeesh. Mark that one down as disturbing.

QUOTE (mr_genius @ Aug 15, 2010 -> 06:13 PM) so now Barack Hussein Obama wants to build a mosque on ground zero in New York huh disgraceful. Yah and that crazy judge who voted against the Nevada law and then released a press release about it! What horrible people. Kudos to Obama for standing up against ignorance, prejudice, fear, and political expediency.

QUOTE (kapkomet @ Aug 14, 2010 -> 10:02 PM) You're only thinking this through about 15% to 25% of the way here. This is ALL, from every angle, a poltical statement. Built it? /// Uhhh Ground Zero!! (check). In this way, we can make those stupid American f***ers racist pigs that they are, even though building here is of course imflammatory to begin with... let's get those Allah Hating people in our face, because it makes us look like the tolerant ones (check). Pull in the political leaders and start the back and forth (check). Imam makes phone calls talking about what a meat feast this is turning into - send more money - NOW - so we can get the shariah mentions in here... (check) Imam meets with mayor Bloomburg, tells him he'll get some cash out of the deal in the backroom, Mayor announces this as a great idea (check this one is the chaching kind) Call in more controversy by saying that they are only coming to this particular site out of revverence, love, peace, and all that crap for the people who died there that day (check) ....... all the while knowing that even the action being considered is condecending, provacative, and just downright "morally repugnant" knowing the seeds down there. (check) Now you have the Sean Hannity's of the world running around talking how bad this is (check) and therefore how much better they all really are, because ultimiately a "peaceful (YET DISRESFECTFUL AS HELL) religion" wants to clearly set up base there to make a name for themselves on one of the most controversial places in the world. For Chris's sakes, just make the movie about it and get it over with... bunch of attention whores trying to make points that frankly don't need to be made there. ur weerd

QUOTE (kapkomet @ Aug 14, 2010 -> 08:18 PM) It cracks me up how no one can see the point through the forest here. Why would a Christian church near the site of 9/11 cause a controversy?

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 14, 2010 -> 03:56 PM) he was never dead, Kevin Spaceys character kept him barely alive with drugs and minimal nourishment to extend the torture for his sin. Good movie, dont know why it would strongly objectionable He said diseased not deceased. Any when I was younger this movie was pretty traumatizing. One of my favorite's now.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 12, 2010 -> 11:04 PM) I'm too lazy to look it up. Did he draw one walk in his stint here? Obviously the answer is No. How many at bats with no walks? No, he's probably close to setting a record. I don't know how this is even possible.

QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Aug 11, 2010 -> 02:01 PM) No. Please no. Yes, please, yes! That rocks. What is he using now anyways? It's probably cool if he leaves the Outfield just for his hits. -
You're right Balta, Ted Olson does make a very sound case.

QUOTE (kapkomet @ Aug 5, 2010 -> 08:33 PM) I don't disagree with your specific point, but pick the word that fits. The larger point here is that federalism has gone WAY too far. It started by what cases the supreme court even chooses to take up. They took up the cases to set the tone for the federal level to define what marriage is, and that's just plain wrong and totally should not be the point in this case. You're not married by the "power vested in xxxxx by the United States of Socialism, er I mean, Amerikkka,", it's the state. And they should be able to define what that is. Explain to me again how that's discriminatory in nature? You discriminate me by trivializing the definition of marriage. Now what? And for the record, I'm not against "gay marriage" even though I totally disagree with it morally, but that is not for me to judge the person/people. If I'm a gay person in one of these backward states, states rights can bite me. I've got constitutional rights wherever I live.

QUOTE (mr_genius @ Aug 3, 2010 -> 06:19 PM) i don't respect her service or her outrageous press release and subsequent appearance on 'Hollywood Squares'. shameful actions from a so-called public servant. Can you provide a source for these actions? I mean, I don't think it's commonplace for a judge to make press releases. You need a PR person in the first place don't you? -
We'll we're asking this question when Alexei Ramirez is the hottest he's been all year. Shortstops are pretty thin this year, but Alexei's probably not the best.

So there is no actual proof that the Judge who ruled against Arizona, put out a press release? My lord, we have so little respect for those who make public service a part of their lives. -

She very well may have but is there any proof the judge put out a press release about the threats? -
QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jul 31, 2010 -> 12:43 PM) Really? I get called that almost every day on here, and you obviously don't have a problem with it. And I didn't say they were idiots, I said that they/you don't understand it. And you don't... except what you want to believe. I don't claim to understand the tax system. I don't think I've even really participated in this thread. But I thought the posts above about some high earners getting great tax benefits was interesting. And I would like to have seen some real arguments against, not dismissal.

Pretty mysterious trailer right here.

QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jul 30, 2010 -> 11:42 PM) Whatever, dude. A Canadian telling me how our tax system works? I clearly don't understand it... considering that's what I do for a living. But okay, tell me all about it, mmmkay? You guys want to always come up with the talking points that are fed to you every day. Fact after fact is posted about the system, and then because we don't support raising taxes up the wazoo to buy all these entitlement programs you want force fed up our ass, we're stupid and don't understand who pays what. And then, you want to bend the goalposts and nitpick so that facts are twisted every way but Sunday to make it fit your "debates". Ridiculous. Yea, I'm an assclown. Whatever. Nope, and I guess I'm a hypocrite on this, but I don't like seeing you calling my fellow soxtalkers idiots.

QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jul 30, 2010 -> 05:54 PM) Nice try guys. You don't understand the tax system at all except the propaganda you're fed. Who made this clown shoe an admin?
