Always something. If they hit a little bit then the pitching sucks, if they don't hit(like normal) the pitching is good enough to lose a close game or you get a catcher's interference or some other error. Can never get their s%*# together which is a sign of a bad organization.

I would go even further and say it doesn't matter if they didn't have all the injuries. (which they have and will continue to have) They'll be lucky to play .500 in their remaining games so the best they'll end up with is around 75 wins.

Sounds to me like he is very concerned about it. Where he is correct is that he should consider what fans think or they won't buy your tickets. Yes, unfortunately the owner can't be fired. Reinsdorf obviously knows how to make money and he also obviously has no clue how to run a professional sports organization. If not for Michael Jordan, in his around 80 years of ownership between Sox and Bulls he would have one championship. He doesn't know what he is doing and he hires people who don't either and this is what you end up with.

LOL, sideways start? A sideways start would be .500 or maybe a couple of games below. This is an unmitigated disaster. They tried rebuilding and have failed miserably. The only thing that would save this organization is a total reset, aka as ownership change. I'll read about the terrible results and come here because misery loves company, but I am done watching games and I wouldn't go to a game if tickets were given to me.
