Yermin retiring? Nope. Wait, maybe yes? Wait, he's active in Charlotte again.
Talk about burying the lede.

Cleveland about to blow it up?
Eh, I see it both ways. A couple months ago on here, I read that Detroit's pitching prospects were "busty" and that Stiever could be the centerpiece in a big trade.

Is it time to give TLR his due? And maybe some apologies?
The team is in a great spot, especially considering the injuries, but they haven't won a damn thing. The storybook season and comparisons to 05 are all warm and fuzzy, but the 06 team was also cruising in the first half.

The Grandal will come out tomorrow, you can bet your bottom dollar
To be fair, I didn't understand what you were saying in the bolded part below either.

GT 6/30 Twins @ White Sox 7:10 PM CDT
Donaldson can hit as many homers as he wants as long as his team keeps getting buried in the standings.

Bummer, Marshall to IL; Kopech back, Fry up
I was just amused at the complete opposite responses back to back.

Bummer, Marshall to IL; Kopech back, Fry up
It was an either an accident or the world’s worst recap of the first half.

Giolito has thoughts about Donaldsons comments
Intentional or not, I kinda love the extra diss of "they are in last place" when they are, in fact, not. It's like, you are so buried in the standings and irrelevant to me that I'm not even paying attention to you. Now they sure as hell better keep it that way.

White Sox Winner! 1st Game of the Infamous Trap Series!
I'd rather swap out Keuchel for Kopech. Even with Cease's inconsistency, I feel better about him than Dallas overall.

Who are the White Sox Rivals?
Good call, forgot about them. Which I suppose supports your point.

Who are the White Sox Rivals?
Some of the responses here have me wondering who would be the furthest from a rival i.e. who do the Sox seem to have the least history/connection with? Rangers, Orioles in the AL? MLB as a whole, it almost feels like the Sox and Giants have never met.

Who are the White Sox Rivals?
The Twindians. But really, it's whichever ALC team is good when the Sox are trying to be good. Does that mean they have no true rival?

6/1 - White Sox (33-20) @ Cleveland (28-24) - 6:10pm EDT - NBCSC/FS1
I think your front office point is great, but I struggle with getting on board with the rest of it. Of course they’re a meh team on paper, but that doesn’t mean anything. They SHOULD be a .500 team at best, but baseball is weird. Plus I don’t think it’s out of the question for Bieber to return to being dominant. Just like most of us were confident Gio would get out of his rough stretch instead of saying this is who he is now.

Lorretta's Lounge renamed after TLR
Yeah, but not every nice gesture is considered newsworthy in our society. Sometimes you can just nod in agreement or silently think something is cool instead of needing to share it with the internet. On the other hand, a reversal of a nice gesture by an organization in the spotlight is an odd move that's going to get some attention.

Lorretta's Lounge renamed after TLR
Fake outrage over fake outrage knows no bounds. Did I do it right? It's a really easy/lazy game to play, but by all means wear that cynicism proud!

The dumbest play in baseball history
I mean, you can say it never happens without the bonehead decision by Craig while still giving credit to Báez for executing it perfectly. Not sure why it has to be either/or.

5/26 Cardinals vs. White Sox
In my uneducated opinion, I think TLR is bad AND Yermin is struggling. Is that allowed?

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
Well they failed that test.

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
This feels uncomfortably accurate.

Toxic positivity otherwise you’re actively rooting for them to lose.

The Makings of a Juggernaut?
I don’t think it’s a stretch to say Minnesota or Cleveland can win the division. One has a solid lineup, the other has solid pitching. I think the Sox are still the team to beat, injuries and all, but all three teams have legit flaws. It’s not like the Sox have shown their dominance over Cleveland in head to head matchups.

What’s the obsession with choosing the division winner in early May?
