  1. Well don’t stop at that series. Tell us more.
  2. Oh yeah, I understand. The schtick has just gotten old on both ends of the spectrum. I guess that means I’m also really bored (and antsy). It’s been a long season, especially since games haven’t been meaningful for quite awhile now. I think we’re all ready for the playoffs to start. Well, except for the starting rotation.
  3. Y’all are really bored huh
  4. Blue Jay Clam
  5. I would assume they're giving him at least some of September to see if he turns it around.
  6. Bo's forearm is almost the size of Ellis Burks' head.
  7. Two absolutely stacked lineups. I like the Sox SP by a healthy margin. Which Sox bullpen will we see, the one on paper or the one we've seen on TV? If it's the former, I think the Astros are in for a bad time, home field or not.
  8. I just don’t see anything in the post you quoted as “predicting doom.” Calling them underdogs doesn’t seem all that controversial. Nor does it really even matter, obviously.
  9. What is this even supposed to mean?
  10. Braves? Yeah, I don’t see it. The Giants though…I’m done trying to make sense of it. They’ve sustained it for so long that I’m convinced they’re legit. Even if I still don’t get it.
  11. What a bunch of dorks.
  12. Based on lineup construction, I’d say it’s more hoping than trying. But whatever. Rest is good. Stay healthy.
  13. Is that thinking/hoping he can still reach some of his potential? Ability to take a walk? Left-handedness? No snark, genuinely curious.
  14. We are happy but we are restless. In a way, this feels like waiting for spring training to wind down.
  15. The fan stereotyping is dumb enough, now we gotta create new ones?
  16. What? TLR got so much shit for pulling Kopech early the other day. Kinda hard to manage a bullpen when no one can get outs.
  17. Ray’s been clowning a lot of teams for awhile now. Dude’s been on fire.
  18. The bolded part is the only one that truly gives me some apprehension, but there's not a whole lot you can do about that. I get where you're coming from with the rest of the list, but I'm more concerned with which Giolito and Cease show up in their playoff starts than anything else you mention.
  19. I can't believe there's still over a month left of the regular season. Dog days indeed.
  20. It’s such a weird season in terms of trying to get a read on the team. They’re clearly a better team than we’ve seen due to the injuries they’ve had to deal with. At the same time, there’s no denying that they’ve racked up wins against a bad division while looking less competitive overall against the better teams. I don’t know what any of this actually means. Let’s find out in October.
  21. It’s inexcusable. I get that removing your MVP makes you a worse team. Obviously. But the extent to which they become worse is a little concerning.
