Hoping Robert can swing the bat with two hands and arms today. In terms of Yoan, Hahn has been doing this all season. Never recall anything like it across The MLB. -
So I assume Cairo blasted Elvus in the postgame, right?

Yankees are tied with Oakland as the fifth worst team in baseball in August and September (11-20). Colorado (11-21), Detroit (10-21), Pittsburgh (9-22) and Miami (8-23) have been worse. The Yankees would be happy with a split at this point. -

The money games are September 15-29 against the division. That said, would be nice to get a W against a LH Starter, and Luis Robert back on the field and AJ Pollock off the field (74 plate appearances away from $2M more dollars, 24 away from $1M more). Only Abreu has played more, though he is a big positive when he plays (3.4 bWAR vs. 0.6 Pollock bWAR). If they can take 4 + this week, it will be gravy considering they typically struggle on the West Coast. -
Duh, he went to Notre Dame.

And that’s the craziest Winner of the year!

Hahn is the GM, the other two your trying to pin part or most of the blame are multiple levels lower on the org chart. What organizations have you ever worked in where that would fly? Your boy Hahn also said he Kenny and Jerry "all agreed" to hire Tony Fucking La Russa. So let's stick with facts and common sense, and not deflect every single horseshit move Hahn has made that was either deflected to Kenny and Jerry, or to Tony and now his sycophants are drilling two levels down in the org chart. Hahn also came up with the horseshit opener idea for Game 3 in Oakland, and Ricky Renteria took all the blame where the blame should have resided with worthless Rick Hahn for not having more than 1 good starter (plus his shitty Keuchel signing), and then his horseshit opener idea. Hahn also shoved Rodon to the bullpen down Rick Renteria's throat the final week, and it cost the Sox the division. Of course he could have actually acquired starting pitching help with the Sox' excellent 2020 start, but what did he do? Trade for worthless Jarrod Dyson, sending, wait for it, international bonus money. -
Most here were advocating for a QO. If Hahn used that money to properly fill the perma-holes at RF and 2B, people would have understood and agreed if he signed quality starters (not mid 30s Josh Harrison). He instead used the money to pick up Kimbrel's option, with the intentions of flipping to a max of two teams possibly willing to take on that contract (Atlanta and Los Angeles), and as a result had little to no leverage and ended up getting an even worse contract in return. Hahn signed Kelly for a similar amount who had it written in his contract he couldn't pitch in consecutive games for half of the first season (and perhaps more restrictions which have not been reported). Also rushed to extend Lynn for whatever reason mid-July who had issues requiring a knee brace and then surgery shortly thereafter. Previously, he made Grandal the highest paid White Sox despite the fact he was in his 30s and carried a very heavy workload the previous few seasons. Catchers in the 30s who continue their production are few and far between in baseball. Also, his payroll increased significantly year over year. Instead of acquiring a quality RF and 2B, he dumped it in the bullpen and mid 30s hitters on their last ML contract.

Well @Lip Man 1said someone reported Hahn was going to speak to the media Friday, but it's been crickets. Also, interesting quote from Abreu I don't recall seeing posted here.

OG CBS One Shining Moment Was at the Dallas Comegys game (2:09-2:12) at the Rosemont Horizon! IIRC, this was the last game the losing team (Syracuse coach by perma-corrupt Jim Boeheim) had to wait courtside through the championship celebration to receive their second place trophy. Speaking of perma-corrupt, Rick Pitino hugs senior Billy Donovan at the 3:12 mark.
