What’s Vaughn’s offensive ceiling?
Very hard to peg at this point since he is unique in terms of a typical first basemen. Of the players below, Steve Garvey may be the best projection. https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/why-andrew-vaughn-is-such-a-unique-mlb-draft-prospect/ Vaughn is one of only eight MLB players drafted Top 10 as a RH 1B, and only the second since 1991. Frank Thomas, Mark McGwire and Tim Wallach are three standouts among the seven other draftees. There have only been four sub six foot RH throwing 1B since MLB integration (1947), and only two regulars, who have played more than 20 MLB games: 2,332 Steve Garvey 1,658 Bill "Moose" Skowron 328 Chuck Harrison 173 Tyler White In terms of modern White Sox players, would say Paul Konerko could be the best comp in terms of 1B and offensively, perhaps Carlos Lee defensively if he stays in LF (and a better hitter than Lee).

It's time to put Jose out to pasture
Last I checked, one Chicago organIzation aided and abetted a serial child rapist. The same one with the racist branding / logo and racist management. Also would not trade Jerry Reinsdorf for the McCaskey family, it would be a downgrade on multiple fronts. Perhaps the Cardinals will return to the South Side once the Bears leave town. That leaves rickets in terms of the "Big Four". Good in terms of staying out of Chicago Cubs baseball operations decisions, bad in terms of being an in debt cheap-ass who will not adequately fund a Top 5 revenue team. On a personal level, the entire family klan is embarrassing, to say the least. Collectively, Chicago ranks up there with the most repulsive collective Big Four ownership. DC and "New York" are also in the running for the Top Spot.

Kopech Leaves Game with Injury (knee)

When the promise is broken You go on living, but it steals something from down in your soul Like when the truth is spoken, and it don't make no difference Something in your heart turns cold Tony went down to the courthouse, Jerry's Judge bribe put it all to rest....

And That's a White Sox Winner !!!!
Nice win again, you got to beat the horrendous teams and the Tigers are on fumes at this point. Eloy's injury has given Vaughn (2 off games since May 14 when he returned from the IL) and Pollock (5 off games since Eloy's April 23 injury) a chance to play regularly, and they have taken advantage of it. Pollock could probably use a little more rest as the season progresses. Tony did a good job managing Vaughn's transition to MLB and LF last year, including off days against tough RHP, but he should be playing regular at this point. w RC+ 2021 & 2022 Pollock: 137 & 86 Vaughn: 94 & 133 Eloy: 101 & 66

It's time to put Jose out to pasture
I think you are overestimating a return on a 35 year old DH/1B in today's game. He's worth more to the Sox, both in current production and intangibles, than anything you would get for him (a solid prospect if you ate the salary, otherwise a couple lottery tickets). Couldn't trade him at his max value (after MVP "season"). He will be here until he wants retire, and I think he's earned that right. All ears on most other players, save for Robert, Vaughn, Anderson, Kopech and Cease.

Fire Tony - Then What?
If you fire Tony and allow Jerry and Hahn to select the replacement, it will most likely end in disaster. This was their best and brightest decisions since 2012: Ventura Ventura extension offer after four pathetic years and him losing the team (LaRoche, Sale, Eaton). Ricky hired the day after Ventura rejected the extension Ricky extended and then fired 60 games later Tony! Toni! Tone! You'll get AJ, Ozzie, some other Jerry crony and another cheap and or unqualified manager, and you'll still have the same incompetent Front Office. Best to let this dumpster fire burn completely. Perhaps it will take sub 70 win seasons. sub 10,000 attendance, sub 1.0 TV ratings before Jerry finally steps down like he did with the Bulls, and finally allow qualified outside professionals to run the team.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Agreed. Also, there should have been a 28 man roster the entire season to help manage workloads, Would have cost $1.4M per team for players at the ML Minimum. The rosters have been stuck at 25/26 players for over a century. Teams had four starters and a much smaller bullpen the first hundred years. The way the game is managed today, 14 Position, 5 Starters and 9 Relievers on an active roster (28 total) would be ideal.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Anyone have any more details in terms of the prognosis? Any MRI performed or scheduled consultation to a specialist?

I'd say Jerry Krause is the exception to the rule, though it's questionable whether the Bulls would have won anything if Portland selects Jordan instead of Sam Bowie. Krause did a great job building his two supporting casts. jerry was done paying everyone after the last championship, and they have been a top team in attendance ever since, despite having awful stretches after 1998, so win win for Jerry.

Alternate/ive Realities ("Safety Not Guaranteed")
Criticism of Yoan's start this year is universal, and likely due in part to injuries, but both have played well during their tenure. Robert is producing this season. Hopefully both will crank it up this Summer. Perhaps Lucas and Ethan Katz can point them to coaching help outside of the organization to help develop them further, since there is no help for anyone on Tony's staff. 2019 White Sox fWAR Leaders: 4.8 Moncada (21st in MLB); 4.5 Anderson (28th); 2.2 McCann (112th); 1.7 Leury (149th). 2021 White Sox fWAR Leaders: 4.7 Anderson (26th in MLB); 4.1 Moncada (42nd); 3.7 Grandal (52nd); 3.4 Robert (62nd). 2022 White Sox fWAR Leaders: 2.1 Anderson (21st in MLB); 1.5 Abreu (51st); 1.2 Robert (86th); 0.8 Burger (139th).

Tell me about your Scouts Seats experience
Yes, my brother said they served the pregame buffet in the Stadium Club, then he would take the elevator to the 100 level or back to the Stadium Club during the game to get decent beer since you only get Bud Light and other AALs in the scout seats. Said the staffing and inventory was limited last year.

And That's a White Sox Winner !!!!
Most Chicagoans eat tavern cut, not stuffed pizza. Mainly limited to the downtown tourist joints. Tony & Lill's and Father and Son's were my favorites but have closed, La Villa and Dino's are the current call. Would love to try Vito & Nick's. Cheese and sausage, and any vegetables except mushrooms work for me. La Villa (on Pulaski between Addison & Irving). Dino's (On Higgins a few blocks east of Harlem)

If they get two more runs, they can pitch Leury or Josh Harrison in the 9th.
