Fangraphs has Goodwin as a better RF than Vaughn, so I don't know why it's a problem that he's DHing.

Sox are 3rd in the AL in pitcher BABIP despite a very high K rate and low GB rate, so the lack of shifting can't be hurting that much.

Yeah, Vaughn is fine to play corner OF when you have injuries and run out of options, but unless you've got silver slugger level guys to fill 1B and DH, Vaughn really should be filling one of those spots and go get another OF for next season.

With Vaughn already a budding star and Sheets and Burger still in the system, I don't see how they keep Jose beyond the end of his contract, unless he wants to be a part-time player and be paid as such.

Moncada with RISP is .298 for the season and .188 the last 30 days.

It seems like this team really sucks at hitting with RISP, so I looked at the stats. For the season the Sox are actually 4th in MLB with RISP with a .267 AVG. Then I looked at the last 30 days and the Sox are 27th in MLB with a .231 AVG. Not sure if last 30 days is just an anomaly or a reason to be concerned but those are the numbers, and yes, I used AVG instead of OPS because with RISP you're really looking for hits and not quite as concerned about SLG.
