  1. You said it, Sin City. If the haters can bash on Bobby after a bad outing, we can brag on him all we want tonite. At least I give credit where it's due when one of the guys I hate, like Teahen or Omar has a good game. Where's the Bobby love? If you hate on him when he sucks, give him some credit when he does well baby.
  2. Rios is definitely our one all star representative. Nobody else has a chance. Unless Thornton makes it and they never take set up guys, do they?
  3. By all accounts, Mark is a great person. But I wish he could earn his money as a utility player when he comes back. I don't begrudge him the money and I wish him health, but I'm glad I don't have to see him play for six weeks.
  4. Great win. It seems to me Bobby pitches well in these situations, with a one-run lead. He sucks in tie games or when he has a three or four run cushion. BOBBY ROCKS! This is how it's supposed to work with our staff, but as we all know, this team can't string wins together. Freddy baby! Thornton! and Jenks!
  5. Ha ha. My boy Bobby with the save! Good job Bobby .. again.
  6. Glad Lexi made the routine play.
  7. If Jenks blows it there will be no epic meltdown. It's only a 7 page thread.
  8. Sweet! Time to go get something to eat. Should be interesting to see the score when I come back.
  9. Is there any doubt he's gonna club a single?
  10. Didn't Minnesota just sweep Texas prior to this series? I thought they did. Yes the White Sox stink. Nice K Freddy.
  11. It's a pleasure to watch Texas hit.
  12. This is where a decent team like Texas may be smelling blood against a bad team like ours. I could be mistaken, tho.
  13. I can't remember ever dropping a fly ball either. And I was no supurb player. s*** happens, though.
  14. Well that was certainly a s***ty at bat and half inning. Geez.
  15. AJ goes with the pitch; seems like such a simple concept. Why don't we do it more?
  16. It was a fly ball that an outfielder simply dropped. I can't remember seeing that before. I hadn't seen the 3 he dropped two years ago. To me I don't get mad over that, I just laugh at the ridiculouslness especially after they showed the replay of him diving for a catch last night.
  17. I did not realize he dropped 3 two seasons ago, that's why I asked. That is amazingly bad.
  18. How can you get mad at that, Bolt? It was a ridiculous mistake. A fluke. Are you an angry person? I can get mad at crappy baseball, but that was just a stupid play, not one to get mad over.
  19. Even bad outfielders rarely drop fly balls. I wonder if anybody has kept a stat on that. The odds of that happening to CQ or any outfielder are probably over 100,000 to one.
  20. Wow. Dropped fly ball can change the whole complexion of Freddy's outing.
  21. Murphy's Law. Hawk bragged about CQ's play last night and seconds later, boom, dropped fly ball.
  22. Freddy is doing a fine job.
  23. Oz is in heaven with his two baseball idols now 1-2 fixtures in the lineup. Too bad the fans in the stands don't agree; looks like horrible crowd.
