  1. Ponson is a disgrace to baseball. He sucks. Not that I'm complaining.
  2. Do you guys think Paulie is in better shape this year? He was a little pudgy last year. I love that guy.
  3. No because I still don't buy the losing to get a great pick argument in baseball. I do hope he's a star, though. Nice walk by Jimmy. Time to make it 12-0.
  4. Darn good question. I'm at work. I may go tomorrow night tho.
  5. Lexi is starting to officially swing the bat well. Is he for real?
  6. I'm going to get something to eat. Might be bad luck. Go Sox!
  7. If Clayton keeps showing this, I hope we stop the trade discussions. I mean that last K was NASTY. I like what I'm seeing from this guy, who is working fast on the mound and throwing nasty stuff.
  8. Royals are hitting it where it's pitched, not trying to pull everything. So far it ain't working. Go Sox!
  9. If Clayton throws 96 mph like it just said on the Royals' TV screen, why aren't we higher on him as a prospect? That's pretty damn fast.
  10. Good pitchers do what Clayton just did, get the DP ball. Keep it up, Clayton.
  11. JD has 13 homers; I wish Thome had 13 homers.
  12. No matter what happens with Clayton, at least he works pretty quickly. You've got to love that approach.
  13. Dye is a big dude. It takes that body a loooonnnnn time to get moving in the right direction.
  14. I was impressed with that at bat by Fields. That blast was a pleasant surprise. Nice at bat, Josh.
  15. I don't know, but he's definitely had some bad luck on that front with the Sox. We need the production he gave us last year until the injury. We're not going to get that from Wise/BA/Pods.
  16. We need some home runs tonight. Automatic loss versus Greinke so this is a must win.
  17. The Royals could give the same quote about the Sox in not taking our anemic hitting team for granted. I'm not optimistic w/out CQ's bat in the lineup this weekend.
  18. Do we have to start the Wise bashing? Yes we know he's a below average major league player. I assume you are blaming KW and Ozzie, which is good. I'm sick of blaming Wise because he can't help the fact he's a fairly s***ty player. Let's face it. We are going to struggle big time without CQ. We just are.
  19. Thanks for the update. Pitching and defense still win pennants.
  20. I dunno about that. CQ hasn't produced much yet and this guy might be in a league with a lot of decent OF's available. If you guys were me, would you drop Nolasco? Sorry for the fantasy question. Carlos' injury problems have to be a concern to the Sox. Sort of like Jermaine earlier in his career, pre Sox.
  21. Josh Fields for Brandon McCarthy. Josh Fields for Jon Garland. What you think?
  22. And play Sparky? I mean Corky? Too bad our bats sucked tonight. So bad. Some guys had been swinging so well. Inconsistent crap. We better keep winning 2 of 3. Detroit is close to putting us to bed.
  23. That's what they say about Macdougal too. If we sign him what do we have to pay him? I'd take him if it means getting rid of Gobble.

Did somebody actually say a radio announcer indicated we could get Cain for Nix/Getz? That guy can't be serious? Not that Cain is Johnny Sain but Nix/Getz are scrubs with much to prove before they are more than that.
