The thought of Bonds on the team I've followed for so many years makes me sick.

Yeah and that's why we're pissed, especially after reading KW's stance in the Trib. The panties in a bunch is offensive crap. We have a right to be moderately concerned at what has happened today. We basically released Freddie cause we got 2 guys that we have no use for right now.

I agree this is terrible press. It makes no sense. We had the city like you said and now we're going to get rid of all our starters in the next couple seasons? Sounds like Reinsdorf has turned into cheapo Reinsdork again. One title must be enough for him. How else can this be explained? We aint going to win World Series with the philosophy the Trib suggested. Hopefully the writer somehow messed up. He did probably have to write it quickly after the deal was announced. We just saved a lot of money on the Freddie deal so maybe before hte meetings end we'll have acquired some real players.

Yeah, that Aaron Rowand really sucks. He only was starting cf and team leader on a world championship team in a city that hadn't won one since the days of radio instead of TV. Bring back Aaron!

Too bad we had to give up Aaron in the first place. Anderson wasn't ready and it cost us dearly. I don't know why we had to trade him instead of "prospects" like the Yankees always used to do in deals. Lesson learned: Don't trade a guy unless you can replace him. You may hate Rowand, but his absence left a huge hole to fill.

sure he stunk, but maybe he'll be motivated. And now it'll be easier to insert one of our prospects if Scott is failing to get on base and steal in April and May. I'd rather have him and insert a young replacement from our farm system than bring in some average player and feel obligated to let that player rot all year.

I'd overpay for Ichiro. He and Iguchi. Priceless. Ichiro belongs in chicago.

When we trade Joe we need more than a Figgins. We need to steal some great players. Crede and Freddie need to bring a lot. It must be nice when we can bag on a guy who had the record of Freddie this past year.

It will be a sad day when we trade Joe. We're going to miss his picks at third base. Hope KW isn't this dumb.

I cant believe so many want to deal Freddie. Vas is the guy who sucked. It's easy to think Santana and Brandon are the answer. The unknown is also prettier than the known.

It's amazing how quickly Anderson's stock has fallen. Oz must have convinced Kenny the kid is simply no good. If he has any work ethic I'd give BA one more year. It took Joe a while to learn how to hit his weight, also. And Joe now is one of the best.

Pods isn't very good. Time to part ways with him while thanking him for the nice year we won it all. Wouldn't have won it w/out Pods.

I wouldn't trade Mark B. Keep him. If he wants to ultimately leave as a free agent, fine. It will be a sad day if the Sox trade Mark B.

If the Sox need to save money, I'd dump both Vazzy and Freddy in deals to the Yanks and let Brandon start and somebody else in our organization. If money is no option, just dump Vazzy and keep Fred.
