  1. I disagree.
  2. I would love somebody to explain to me how traveling on a plane could possibly not be a superspreader. People are sitting close together!!! Planes are disgusting and so are airports.
  3. The virus is not a hoax but has been handled poorly in the USA not only by Trump but mayors and governors. I can give a specific example in Ks but I doubt it's allowed in this thread. It's healthy to examine our election process and make sure there's no cheating. That's all we have as a country, the integrity of elections. Don't know why Biden people are sweating. It's been obvious for a long time he was going to win and was the winner. I'd be all for reviewing all presidential elections in the future.
  4. would you care to place a wager there was destruction in portland as most recently as last weekend? The "imaginary" riots could win me some cold hard cash. Also are you saying there were not riots more than 100 consecutive nights?
  5. You guys act like I am not RESPONDING to others. You act like I make stuff up and START these topice. Whatever. I know my place here. On a daily basis it's 50-50 whether I survive another day or am put on vacation. That's what happens to people who generally disagree with the majority.
  6. You guys act like I make this stuff up. I watched a sheriff in Jersey and a sheriff in New York both easy google searches discuss NOT OBEYING the governor's orders to bust up parties of 10 or more. You guys act like I make this stuff up. yes the governors want these people prosecuted; no the sheriffs will not waste their time with this bleep. But it does exist.
  7. If they pass all the things I mentioned before, God help us. They've got the majority in House and Senate and will be able to reshape America any way they want since they've got both houses. I just pray everything works out. I disagree with a lot of their positions.
  8. Portland police chief on Friday night looting/rioting/window smashing. Check the Portland police twitter and you'll see what's still going on. "Last night two groups caused brazen and senseless destruction in our city. The 1st vandalized the Mexican Consulate downtown, as well as the new county courthouse. The 2nd caused a swath of destruction along NE Sandy Blvd. (continued)" This included local restaurants and a food cart, a labor and staffing company, paint store, antique store, and theater. These vandals terrorized workers that were inside as the mob shattered large windows, and hurt businesses that are already struggling right now. (continued) Chief Chuck Lovell This is not protest. This is not speech. This is criminal activity. We are investigating and encourage anyone with information about who is responsible to e-mail crimetips@portlandoregon.gov." Greg says: Antifa must be stopped and NOW!
  9. A lot of my posts refer to common sense and people freak out at me for using common sense instead of numbers that I don't always believe. The fact that O'Hare has regular lines with no attempt at social distancing is troublesome and ridiculous. Look folks, we need to look big picture here. We need to reduce situations in which large numbers of people are packed into areas for a period of time. Restaurants and beauty salons and family dinners are not the problem. Get the family members tested before Tgiving celebration; make sure the stores and salons and restaurants are clean and distancing and doing the right thing. But air travel? Cmon. Long lines for the holiday to get through security. People packed together as they put their items hurriedly in the bins. People using the restrooms. People boarding the plane in each others' faces as they put their stuff in the overhead. People removing masks during the flight when nobody's looking at them, transmission of the virus for the 2.5 hours the flight is in the air? Cmon, common sense tells me the WHOLE travel experience is about the most dangerous of all regarding COVID no matter what the experts say (yes the experts can be as corrupt as everybody else). Travel, protests, yes Trump rallies, political protests and celebrations, nightly marching/rioting, these are ALL hotbeds for COVID. How do I know?? Common sense. The federal government if it really wanted to get rid of COVID would consider shutting down the travel industry for a bit. Can't do that? Fine, but don't pretend traveling via air is safe from COVID these days. Folks, most of us at least have a grade school education. Common sense tells me eating in a restaurant yesterday with somebody in which my table was not near anybody else's (we both wore masks, but yes I was concerned; I had to go and risk it hadn't seen this person in years so yes I risked it sadly) is much less dangerous than fricking travel. You don't hear a lot about airport travel just as you don't hear a lot about the protests as being spreaders. Sorry for the ramble. That picture of the lines at O'Hare are appalling to me and I had to comment. Thanksgiving dinners of 10 people aren't the problem if attacked correctly; my eyes tell me airport travel is a big problem!! p.s. And I watched some of OSU-OU football on TV. Some stadiums you see on TV have about 5000 to 10000 fans and it looks distanced and fairly safe. Why not let 10000 people in a stadium that seats 75000? But OU-OSU and last week's ND game looked almost normal, like many pockets of the stadium had people all crammed together. My common sense meter? PROBLEMATIC. Moreso than testing 10 family members and gobbling up a turkey Thursday!
  10. Lot of action tonight around the country. https://www.twitch.tv/livenowmedia https://www.twitch.tv/seattleprotestnetwork https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRFaolNTaSY
  11. I thought downtown Naperville got hit one night as did Oak Brook. If i'm wrong my bad. I rememeber hearing about a community cleanup in Naperville.
  12. It's coming this week from what I've read, definitely in California for starters. You haven't read this?? Gavin Newsome??
  13. Fair enough. I endorse your post. I like your attitude. You've got the gun IN YOUR CAR ready if needed. If somebody tries to carjack your car or bust a window to stab you you are ready. I appreciate you taking the time to write long posts in response to my posts. Thank you. Illini beat Nebraska today ... nice.
  14. You lost me there but I did not stop reading there because I like your posts. However calling the police does no good. The mayors and governors will not charge protestors/looters/rioters. "Sometimes" they'll arrest them, but they are not charged with crimes. Calling the police doesn't work anymore in the age of AOC-led defund the police mantras.
  15. I hope you are not calling me a liar, watching with my own eyes what's going on in Portland for 120 consecutive nights, then stalling about a week after the election, picking up again last night. Not cool to call some ody a liar which your "imaginary" suggests. I know you don't care that I care and am offended, but it's just WRONG. Also the Antifa are almost exclusively white people. The nightly disturbances usually begin with speeches from legitimate speakers who happen to be BLM supporters who deliver a good message with legitimate concerns. The ones causing "most" of the trouble and anarchy are whites between 18 and about 29. Full body armour, video game attire, shields, umbrellas, firebombs, hammers, stuff like that more than guns so far, though it's been speculated more and more streamers are armed and more and more protestors are armed. Almost all whites though.
  16. Yeah it's a big concern. I have a relative who lives downtown Chicago and he's got one guard in his highrise lobby. He's afraid the mobs are gonna hit the elevators one night and come busting through doors (remember his area was hit by window breakers and looters twice already in the last 4 months). They've hit the KC suburbs on two occasions. Of course I'm worried about the looters and head bashers who always attack 3 on 1 or 4 on 1. Cowards.
  17. i enjoyed your post and hope it is true. Remember that couple in St. Looie that brought out the guns to meet Antifa? Didn't work out well for them thru the legal system with punks all over their property yelling nasty things. Lot of people have been physically bruised by Antifa Not this St Looie couple, nothing happened to them but it was daylight, too.
  18. Are you serious? It's the mayor and governor's fault for not arresting and charging these anarchists. It's amazing it's easier to get arrested for holding a Thanksgiving party of 20 people than it is to bust windows in major stores and grab a few items for the TV room. Unfrickingbelievable. Trump's fault?? LOL. Antifa hates Biden, too. Even though I disagree with most posters on here I pray you don't run into some of these thugs on the street. I don't want anybody to get hit with a bat.
  19. I'll send u guys all the links. But here's the one I'm watching tonight. It's awesome. Cops busting the Antifa thugs early tonight for spray painting. Cops are after the Antifa thugs early tonight. As the streamer calls them, "domestic terrorists." Cool stream watch it now. www.twitch.tv/behindenemylinesnews Anitanoellegreen is another one streaming tonight. Also https://woke.net/ will take u to some streams nationwide and in Portland. And please stop implying I'm lying I don't lie which makes me different from most politicians during COVID. They had 120 consecutive nights of rioting which is 4 months. If it's lessened a tad since Biden won, it appears it finally has. But it hasn't stopped. Last Saturday was bad (I watched it) and the Antifa thugs are out tonight and some have already been stopped by cops. Just please stop the doubting greg stuff right now. It's been my nightly routine to watch this anarchy. Lots of building damage tonight. The guys are taking pictures of all the broken windows. the behind enemy lines guys who hate Antifa have all the footage. Portland still rioting!!! Makes me fricking sick. But, no, it's not going on. Andy Ngo just. makes it all up as well.
  20. Thanks for the advice. It is unhealthy for me to get so upset on a nightly basis. I enjoy your posts BTW. Reasonable and never insulting.
  21. I hope you are against arson and the like. I would assume you are. Ordinary apartment goers shouldn't have to go to bed worried their building will be set ablaze. It's not right to pay taxes and have the mayor/governor refuse to respond and refuse to make charges stick when they finally do come out to stop the madness on a nightly basis.
  22. Not the Portland riots. I spent many a night up til 3 my time watching the cops finally respond to the firebombs, etc. on stream. Every night rinse repeat with cops chasing the arsonists/rioters in Portland.
  23. I know what I see. If it's lessened the past two weeks, then I'm very happy. I watched it nightly all summer into the fall into the winter. If it's now subsiding, good. But I will not back down on my summer/fall/early winter hobby of nightly watching the streamers in Portland. Just Saturday two guys were online harassing the Antifa in the street. I can send you the link. It was pretty funny. It was LAST WEEKEND. If you want the links I watch I'll PM them to you.
  24. Sorry, this one I'm familiar with. I watch the livestreams nightly. Last weekend was bad in Portland, regular riots. I will grant you this week so far I've caught no streamers from Portland online. Last weekend everything was status quo: nightly speeches followed by marching/bashing/riots. Basically been several months of anarchy in Portland and still many nights in Seattle.
  25. What are u doing in a hotel? Have you flown this week? How bout a little summary of airports, actual flights, mask wearing at airports and on the plane and atmosphere in the cities u travel to during this period of advanced COVID.
