I’m withholding judgement. Mendick has looked very good in flashes before and then crashed back to earth. That being said, given his competition is Harrison and Leury he probably is the best option at this point.

I've just stopped watching the games on TV. I have my ticket package and will go to the games. I'm not going to torture myself 3-4 hours a night all summer long.

Saw it twice in theaters already (wasn't able to catch it in IMAX the first time). As someone who caught the original somewhat more recently and found it kinda corny (a "good" bad movie, if you will), I thought the new one was excellent and one of the better movies I've seen in the theaters in a long time.

Not going to opine one way or the other here, just wanted to share a story from back in March. When the lockout ended and opening day hit, I tried to use some of my season ticket account credits to purchase tickets to Opening Day, only to be told that they were unavailable (some weird issue with them being separated from potential credits generated by lost games due to the lockout). Frustrating enough needless to say, and I communicated that frustration and was met with the following: I completely understand the frustration! If I could utilize your credit for that, I certainly would for you. But please know that the previous credits that you had can also be used for playoffs so it won’t go to waste! In short, my opinion is fuck this organization and their hubris that goes from the top all the way on down.

Even more wild that MLB thought this is what the public wanted when they changed the balls.
