My bosses neighbor walked over to his house last night and gave him 4 tickets to tonights game...FOR FREE!!! Ya want to know why? His neighbor is a Sox fan and has no interest in going!!! ***can't say I would do the same thing, as I don't know when play-off ball will be played around here again. I would go in a Marlins shirt and hat though, but I would probably go just to soak up the atmosphere. If there Series does happen here, I will bust my rump to find tickets though, and wear the AL colors no matter what, though if it is Yankees I will probably just wear my White Sox pinstripes, as that is kind of close, but not Yankee all the way...ya know...***

I have a hard time lumping Frank and Sammy (cough) in with the "choke artists" name, as they really haven't had that much experience with play-off ball. This is Sammy's second trip, and the first time was only three quick games. If they get through all of this and win it all, and he finishes with one RBI, then I will be more apt to call him a choke artist. The last time Frank got into the post, the team was not all that sound, and none of them really should have been there. I stand by my belief that 2000 was a fluke and all luck. The Atlanta guys though, such as Jones, yeah, choke. Jeter is a freak of nature in post season. Hell, the Yankees are all freaks of nature in post season.

This morning at the end of the Chicago Sports Center segment, Chris said "is there a better time to be a Chicago sports fan? Though White Sox fans will beg to differ." ATLEAST WE WERE NOT FORGOTTEN IN A SPORTS REPORT AND SOMEBODY ACKNOWLEDGED THAT NOT ALL ARE JUMPING ON THE CUBS TRAIN!!!

Don't count on it. Those two love Sammy and the Cubs more than the Tribune it seems. Though Brenneman did condemn Sammy to a degree for never really admitting the truth behind the cork. BUT you know that they would just laugh about the hop because it is Sammy and his kid-like giddiness about the game. :fyou

We gotta wait that friggin' long!?! I ain't sticking around that long man, I got places to be after I let loose this mortal coil!!!
-
BoSox because I actually like the Sox. Though, in thinking harder about it, the Cubs would probably kill them. I might change my answer tomorrow. Nope, sure bet I'll stick with Boston. If Boston and the Cubs meet up, whoever loses will be f***ed for another 100 years, I am pretty sure. So here is to Boston winning and the Cubs rotting in hell for all eternity!!!

But has Fick ever been anything more than a dick? His just being on the Braves should have told us they were done.

Yeah, but spilt milk that doesn't get cleaned up has a tendency to start to stink REAL BAD!!!

...gotta go throw up...

If somebody can show me an area to uplaod files, or give me some space, as a little "put a smile on your face" good will gesture to my fellow Sox fans, I will put up a game I have in MP3 form from 1936 of the White Sox beating the snot out of the Cubs. I know it is an OLD game, but it is just further proof as to how we have had the better team for all of these years. Any takers?

I don't listen to the radio much now days, as all it is happens to be Cub talk. Jim Rome (who sucks) kept going on from what little I heard about how Chicago is in a state of chaos with all the celebration, and how everybody in Chicago is in love with the Cubs. Lord man, I just want one of these boneheads to say "except Sox fans". I like Mac, Jurko, and Harry, but wish that the one voice on the station for the Sox had more hatred towards the North. Atleast Jurko stands by his Cubs and admitted he would want a Sox downfall if it were the other way around. Kev though, sheesh, I should listen sometime to see if I still like the guy. I hated him when he first got onto the radio, then grew to liking him, then got sick of him. I miss Johhny B. big time though.

We would have been fine against the Yanks. They haven't been a problem for the Sox in years. But if the A's win it tonight, this is where our boat would stop. Can beat the West, and we all know that as well as the Sox.
-
f***ing twit. Does he still do Jim, or has he finally heard the expression "flogging a dead horse"? It would only make sense that he would be a Cub fan since he got booted from LUP and they eventually turned to ESPN, and weren't the Sox st that location back then also?
-
Ya know, I've heard that "Swung on belted" before, but it never dawned on me what a lame saying that was until I just saw it spelt out. Man, I hate Chip. Have you guys ever heard him being interviewed on Mac, Jurko and Harry on ESPN? Chip goes on their show, knowing full well that Mac hates him, and Chip is the most defensive little twit you will ever hear. Quite funny actually. And I know that Harry is considered a "legend" and all that crap, but the guy sucked. Chip fits in quite well with ol' drunkard, IMO.

Whoa, Kevin is still on the air? Is he still midday? I can't remember, is he a Sox fan or what?
-
Yeah, and if that happens how many times will we have to endure the story of the fabled pointed home run? "Almost 70 years ago Babe Ruth stood at this spot and pointed into the night, now after all these years, will Sammy Sosa repeat the historic act with a swipe of his bat". :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou

Come on, let me in on the joke!!!

Who's CW? Ooops, am I being mistaken for somebody else? I assure you, I am not somebody from another time or place. Or are we all suffering from Ncorgbl paranoia? No offense to Ncor, but his sig on the Sox board leads one to believe he doesn't trust anybody. Oh, and my first name DOES start with a C, but he last ends in an I.
-
oops, new guy f***ing up...sorry.

Nice...real nice. I see the rainbow coalition on their way now to roll some heads. ...oh...what...that isn't what I am thinking? ***this post not meant to offend anybody or anyone...especially Jesse Jackson...as he scares me and could sue the snot out of me and have my life turned upside down in a matter of seconds...it was a play on words or sorts and meant in jest...thank you and have a good, safe, and happy night...despite the Cubs win...***

Yeah, I'm on. But ya know, I like Pudge. I liked him more when he stayed in Texas because he loved the team and state, and didn't care about the money. But yeah, the guy rocks and seems all about the game, so I am there for the Marlins. The Braves never seemed to be there 100%, and that f***ing town of Atlanta (city...whatever...I don't give a f*** Scarlett), deserves it. How dare they let that many Cub fans into their park during a post-season game! If you watched one second of those Twins, Yankees, or Red Sox games, there was not ONE sign of the other teams fans in their parks. But in Atlanta, it seemed to be majority Cub fans!!! Pathetic!
-
Dammit! Who here are the people who may actually have some insider info!?! I keep seeing this type of thing and it drives me crazy!
-
Prior may have ice water in him, but he will also be having ice water in the air and the fact that it is post-season. With the weather and the lack of experience, I think Maddux has the advantage. I don't think the noise of Wrigley will effect OR intimidate Maddux at all.

I guess being a musician who stands by his principals distorts my views. I just want to play, and if I get paid for playing, cool. I will never in a million years play something I don't want to play just for money. For me, being happy with where I am and what I am doing is more valuable than anything else. I am not a full time musician, nor will I ever be. But even in my work, I could make more money someplace else I know for a fact, but I make a good living where I am, I love the people I am around everyday, and I really love the company, and that is the most important thing to me. I like seeing who I see when I get to work, and I like being here.

Funny one though: Would you believe I won tickets to a White Sox game from ESPN back when the Huge Show was on. They were having a "why the Cubs attract more than the Sox" contest. My email I sent in said that everybody knows that Wrigley is in the area of Chicago that is known for it's "homosexual" population and nightclubs, and since the Cubs are gay, that would explain the large number of turnouts. They actually gave me free tickets for it! Though they didn't read it on the radio!
