Kid Gleason

I'll watch, as I really dislike the offseason and like to get as much baseball in as possible, but I expect this to be a really tough series to watch, as I hate the Red Sox but expect them to beat the snot out of Colorado.

Well, I'm pulling for the Rockies now, but I have a feeling we are about to see a pure slaughterfest.

I think we value it just right, and I think the rest of the world did also. It's like any other World Series though, non-fans of the team forget who was there within a few years unless there was something AMAZING that happened. I think the 2005 play-offs will be better remembered than the actual World Series. But I remember very little about the 2003 World Series, other than aspects of the play-offs. I remember the bloody sock in 2004, but not a whole lot else. I'm sure though that Red Sox fans can tell you every little thing about that series.

Did he just throw his helmet off on his way to home? It sure looked like. I guess he doesn't care to go into home on a dive then.

Finally saw Knocked Up. Yeah, guess it was good. I was dying of laughter as I was lead to believe I would be, but it had it's moments. I think the funniest thing about it was just thinking about how my sister-in-law went to see it with my mother-in-law! Neither of them read up on it before hand.

I loved last nights episode, until they kidnapped the kid. Everything else about that episode was great, but the kidnapping bit was just bad. IMO it would have been more realistic or in Office style to have had either Michael or Dwight grab the pizza's and take off running and lock themselves in a closet or something to hide from the kid, then have Jim pay the kid for the pizzas and leave Dwight or Michael in the closet/wherever for the rest of the episode. Stuff like the kidnapping thing (and driving the car into the lake) just doesn't work, and it makes Michael look like a raving loon. I know that is part of the direction the show is going, but he is too far over the edge, and for a guy who was already so out there, it's really over the top. I do get the idea that Ryan won't have his job for too much longer.
