QUOTE(mreye @ Oct 25, 2007 -> 01:04 PM) Ummm...you know there's no such thing as monsters, right? I find it odd that a guy with green skin and one eye would be trying to convince somebody that there are no monsters.

QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Oct 25, 2007 -> 06:03 PM) There were two of us. And we rocked as hard as you can with fuzzed out guitar, cord organ and theremin, thank you. Actually sounds damn cool! Anytime you throw in a theremin you got something cool going on!!!

QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Oct 25, 2007 -> 06:06 PM) It just makes me feel better about my life and how i should enjoy every minute of it. I've started to feel more optimistic about everything, and that i shouldn't worry all the time. I really just love the whole concept of the book, and i'd like to believe that life after death could be something like that. I'm completely fearful of death and i'm not really religious but this could get me to have faith in something, even though the book doesn't even really stress the idea of a God. Damn near exactly what she says. I told her i would read it.

They are all creations of the Devil.

QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Oct 25, 2007 -> 05:44 PM) I've never been in a rock band with more than one other person. I've never been in one with less than 4. Can you play "Rock" as one person???

QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Oct 25, 2007 -> 02:53 PM) Just finished the book "The Lovely Bones". I feel different about life, no joke. My wife agrees. Well, she said it changed her in ways. Good ways she says. How about you?

I guess Nolan has always said that he based his Batman on the one from the book BATMAN: THE LONG HALLOWEEN: That would make sense then:

H.P. Lovecraft fans or fans of old movies! This is the trailer for the new film from The H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society and is the same group of people that turned out The Call Of Cthulhu a few years ago. Basically they do their movies in the styles of the time period in which the stories were written. Call was a brilliantly done Silent Film, while the new one for The Whisperer In Darkness is a dang near perfect looking re-creation of a 1930's film. http://www.cthulhulives.org/Whisperer/trailer.html These are also, without a doubt, the most faithful adaptations of Lovecraft stories.

I've never done any drug harder than Pot, and I've only smoked that twice. I've never had Sake. I've never been in a real fight. I've never fainted or been knocked out. I've never had chicken pox, mumps, or any of those fun sicknesses. My mom used to try and get me sick by having me play with the other kids with whatever they had, but it never worked. Never had my wisdom teeth removed either. Oh, and I've never even TRIED a beer bong or shotgunning a beer, and I have no interest in it.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Oct 24, 2007 -> 08:41 PM) I never really was too into any of those bands, just a song or two here and there. In fact, I don't really know if I've ever heard a Bad Brains song. (That might belong in the "well, I never...." thread) Oh, do yourself a favor and get ahold of the tunes "Banned in DC", "Pay To Cum", most of the early stuff, and the I Against I album.

This is just f'n silly. I don't know as if I have ever seen such a lopsided Series before. The poor Rockies.

4 games is all this will take.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 10:27 PM) Take it back. Gotta go with this one. Take it back. Seinfeld will go down alongside with the true greats.

Bad Brains, Stiff Little Fingers and 7 Seconds don't get bolded letters? I for one would be hoping that Raygun joins SLF for a rousing version of "Suspect Device"!

Never been in a strip club, and never will be in a strip club. I also have never been to a Bears game. Something about the two go oddly hand in hand. Not sure how they are related...but ya know. I never got to play the Metro, which was always a BIG dream of mine. Never saw Jordan play, and I really don't give a rats butt about that one. I saw him on TV as it happened, while all my friends lost their friggin' minds over the guy. I've still never been to the UK. That is probably my biggest dream.
-
I actually hate them. Stand outside, freezing my butt of for an hour or so just to walk around in the dark while some idiot jumps out yelling "YARGH!!!"? I'll pass. Not worth the time, cold, or money. We went to Hades one year, due to it being inside, and it was soooo boring.

QUOTE(RME JICO @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 10:46 PM) What about Hester runbacks? Since he is in the Chicago area he won't have a problem finding a media source stroking it to the Bears and Devin Gump.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Oct 21, 2007 -> 09:30 AM) Ministry bassist Paul Raven dead at 46: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermo...ewsitemID=83199 for a life ended too soon for his family for his work in Ministry, Killing Joke, and Prong Crap man, that sucks!!! RIP Paul, rip it up where ever you are!

I just really want to avoid any chance of seeing Papelbon doing that stupid ass dance ever again, so I have to pull for the mountain folk.

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 11:47 AM) If the Red Sox win, am I to still be under the impression that there is a God? It is said that the Rockies are God's team right now - self-proclaimed by the Rockies themselves, and I think the results prove themselves - so that has to make the Red Sox Satan's team, right? Well, just remember how many people thank God at award ceremonies.
-
QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 10:38 AM) I don't like hearing that. Rockies are a damn good team. Why don't you like hearing that? I usually don't know my head from my butt with these predictions, so take it for what it is: some idiot on a message board making a prediction.
