It gives me pause that when GarPax got whacked they replaced them with people worse.

holy fucking s%*#......I can't believe it

I was listening to Bernstein and Holmes talk about this and the way they were talking about it was that there's no way new ownership keeps them in Chicago, because this is a real estate speculation thing and Chicago is already too developed. Maaaybe the only way they stay is if they partner with the Bears in Arlington Heights for a dual complex that has both a football and Baseball stadium.

Why are you convinced Eder is a reliever?
-
No no no, light speed isn't fast enough. We need to go straight to.......ludicrous speed.
-
Opposing teams don't respect the Sox so much that they threw the hitters 47 straight fastballs and they did barely anything with it.

The entire last 3 seasons feel like the plot of Major League......except for the winning to spite the owner.

It sure seems that way. He's also already 24 too.

Eder coming here and getting lit up is weird. He wasn't doing great with the Marlins but he wasn't doing terrible either. He went from meh to bad. They might lose 110 gamesEloy has Avi Garcia disease where he has massive raw power but hits too many ground balls to tap into it. Moncada just had his power disappear.Cease, Moncada and Eloy all had one good season. With Moncada and Eloy you wonder how much was the bouncy ball. They're idiots for not trading Cease.Nobody is arguing that point. But that's not our choice now is it?It's hard to see them contending for the remainder of Robert’s contract. I'd trade him too.If he was on the Sox he'd still be logging sombreros with the occasional HR.This.I'm out of town, still throwing 92-94 with no control? How is Elko doing in AA and at what point does he become a prospect? While true, I think it's worth it to give them one last chance to show they're worth a spot. It's not like Sheets and Andrus are much better anyway.Play Sosa and Colas all but 1 game per week for the rest of the season.Obviously the scouting director has a lot of input on the 1st round pick, no?
