  1. Yeah, that's the way i look at it. I'd much rather have a healthy Wunch than let's say Shingo or Koch.
  2. He's doing exactly what i expected him too.
  3. For a cold windy day it was a hell of a crowd. Gotta love those rally towels too
  4. Sox vs. Lefties this season: .305 AVG (2nd in AL), .391 OBP (2nd in AL), .603 SLG (Best in AL), .994 OPS (Best in AL) I like our chances.
  5. 50 bucks says that 30%+ is deferred.
  6. No chance in hell.
  7. BTW, to get Halladay you might have to give up Reed, Cotts and Sweeney (or Anderson), and the Jay's might still turn it down.
  8. The Cubs make significally more, they should be spending more.
  9. I think it's a combo of wind speed and the new roof. The hole (or gap, whatever you wanna call it) right before the roof probably causes a vacuum. We might experience the same type of wind effects that Wrigley experiences. In other words prepare for seeing lots of HR's hit in bunch's.
  10. It's not just employees, they give them away to kids in certin programs too.
  11. The ball seems to die when hit to center in Yankee stadium. Hopefully we'll see some of those same long fly balls carry over the wall on tuesday.
  12. Is it just me or does Koch's fastball have some decent movement today?

I still can believe he walked 7 guys and only gave up one run. Kinda makes you wonder how good he can be if he only walks two or three
  14. Hey, i couldn't believe it was foul either. When Frank hit that ball i thought it was fair by a good 20 feet.

    Alcohol, and lots of it...
  16. Hey, i don't blame Billy, I just lost all my confidence in him last year. Hopefully he makes me look like a little whiny b**** and kicks some ass this year.
  17. I would have pulled Koch after he gave up a double...when it comes to Koch it's never to early to panic. This time it came back to bite us on the balls.
  18. I'm not really worried, the offense looked good, Buehrle looked good, and it's still only one game. If the bullpen blows wednesdays i'll start to worry.
  19. Baaah, i don't get home from work until 7:30. I'm gonna miss the entire game. :banghead Thank god for mlb.com and their play by play text thing...
  20. I don't know....having your #3 spot hitter ground into 20+ double plays is asking for trouble. Maybe with Frank backing him up Mags will get some better pitches to hit and he'll avoid those double plays.
  21. I doubt he did it on purpose, when you drill a guy you do it on the frist pitch, not the 4 or 5th.
  22. As good as Cotts was yesterday I don't think he has much of a chance to make the team. Ozzie seems to like Wright a lot, and the Sox's want to hold onto Grill, so he's a good candidate for a bullpen spot. I think the Sox's staff is pretty much set.
  23. I still say Rauch comes out of top...
  24. Plus, Mags had a s*** load of DP last year. Not something you want out of your #3 hitter (or your #4). Frank > Mags, for now.
  25. 7-5, RBI single by Olivio
