No chance in hell anyone other than 1st timers or bad retreads will come to manage Sox. Any quality managers will say no thanks, JR has a reputation as a hard headed owner. Be funny if Grifol said he wants out.
-
Kopech went from a mental issue (years ago) to now a physical issue (just can't throw it hard enough)... Maybe it's now both. Change of scenery candidate. Kopech and TA to whoever the high bidder is.
-
It was a whopper of a trade. Kenny's last hurrah.
-
News flash, Kopech still bad.

I've watched more "non Sox" games this year than I usually do. My Lord, the Cubs have a solid team. Actually seem to be concerned about playing real baseball. Watching them play and then the Sox is actually depressing as it shows me how far away this " core" is from being a winner.

Vaughn, you a first baseman?
-
Tim, G0 away!

For those fans of the TV show Succession, who are the characters here? You know JR is Logan Roy, who are the rest? Getz, LaRussa, Moore, Ozzie, Grifol, Nightingale, etc..?
-
Sox drove out the last two fan favorites, Burger and Yermin.
-
This signals total rebuild. TA, Moncada, Eloy, clevinger all gone. New GM will want to tear it down, no reason to can Grifol yet

Steve Stone seen golfing with JR this morning... Smoking stogies and laughing

Theo going nowhere near a Trainwreck like JR. Never happening.

8/15 Game Thread: White Sox @ Cubs 7:05CT

The change up is the most difficult pitch to hit. There's my contribution to this game thread. -
Keynan Middleton rips White Sox 'no rules' culture

Stone will spin the drama, will say it's all about winning or losing. Losing and you're unhappy and the culture feels wrong. Win and nobody cares. -

What needs to happen to get JR attention is to empty the stadium and to go to Cubs games wearing an obvious t shirt saying "former Sox fan, Fu Jerry!" The message needs to be clear and harsh. We can't continue to play the fool. -
JR wants to win once every 15 years or so, the other 14 years he's ok finishing 2nd or 3rd and keeping costs manageable. He's running it purely as a cash cow business, profits ahead of morale and championships.

Sox have literally been one of the most embarrassing teams in baseball for the last 3 years. Before that, they were just a poorly run organization... Now it has gone from embarrassing to flat out comical. It's a joke. Sox are the butt of the joke for a lot of reasons, hard to fathom paying hard earned money to support this clown show right now. JR is so hard headed, he will continue to own and mismanage this team just to spite those incredibly pissed off. FU Jerry, FU front office, but bottom line is unfortunately the jokes on me. The jokes on us. We are the losers, JR and his band of fools are living the good life and our fandom is doing nothing but pissing us off. Time to step away for a while, send a message that finally might be heard. Oakland A's style...6k fans a game style. Bud light abandonment style.

Yes, TA has been s%*# all year... On and off the field.
-
Only thing I can see is maybe Ramirez took offense to TkoA holding him down (held glove on back and didn't move out from over him) for an extended time. TkoA didn't cause the issue, he did however throw the first punch.
-
Robin Ventura smiling somewhere tonight. TA gotta live that down for the next 30 years
-
It's one thing if someone throws a punch at you, but don't get caught up in a stupid situation on a freaking baseball field with the ump right there between them. Be smarter than that TA
