  1. Here’s the last ones I made. Kid likes extra mustard. Pickle on the side. 🤣
  2. I’ve seen them but never tried them. Gonna try them now.
  3. Yes, I believe Jewel still sells them in packages. I found big packages of Maxwell Street Polish at CostCo so that is now my go to.
  4. Make sure to buy the jumbo ones in the single package, not the smaller Kirkland dogs in the multi-pack. Although I’m sure those are good as well, just regular size. The toughest ingredient to buy was sport peppers. Couldn’t find them at any Jewel around. I ended up ordering four jars of Vienna Sport Peppers on Amazon. 🤣
  5. Not that they are bad or anything, but I made the mistake of buying Hebrew Nationals for the longest time. This is where it’s at. They fill a bun, and then some.
  6. Little kids that eat hot dogs with ketchup only before they know better.
  7. I haven’t made hot dogs for my kids since they were young and back then they ate them just with ketchup. But I recently made my 16 year old son some homemade Chicago style hot dogs for the first time with those massive CostCo all beef hot dogs that they sell in the food court, along with diced onions, relish, tomato wedges, mustard, sport peppers, pickle, and celery salt and he loved it.
  8. Those are the type of Robert at bats that I hope other teams aren’t seeing.
  9. Literally. Straight as an arrow 93 MPH meat down the cock of the plate.
  10. Can Robert get his OPS up over .700 by the deadline? Would be nice.
  11. They are all just guys. No franchise cornerstones for us unfortunately.
  12. For sure with a 4.50’ish ERA and a WHIP nearing 1.50.
  13. Cannon has a promising future as a batting practice / home run derby pitcher.
  14. They won’t want to pay the remaining money on his deal. I could see them signing him if he clears waivers and becomes a free agent though.
  15. @WBWSF missed the boat with his letters. If only he had employed this tactic, he would’ve gotten his interview and been the GM by now.
  16. The Cubs board also thought Tauchman had two more arbitration years remaining as of August 2, 2024… https://northsidebaseball.com/news-rumors/chicago-cubs/mike-tauchman-and-the-2025-chicago-cubs-r1013/
  17. Google AI says this. Not sure if this is what you are referring to… “It's worth noting that some foreign professionals are exempt from the international bonus pool rules if they meet specific criteria, such as being at least 25 years old and having played professionally in a foreign league recognized by MLB for a minimum of six seasons.”
  18. Yep. Also, not that they are a very reliable source but earlier this week Mully and Haugh on The Score are under the same impression and discussed bringing back Tauchman as a veteran presence for next year as opposed to trading him at the deadline.
