Two of the worst offseasons in a row. Imagine if he was allowed to actually spend real money? He would blow away Hahn’s Benintendi signing. Everything this guy touches turns to s%*#.

Between this injury and Robert being horrible, Getz isn’t getting anything at the trade deadline.

The real question is — will Getz get back a better return for these two relievers than Yhoiker Fajardo and Aaron Combs?

I agree on trying to acquire McKenzie. It’s a no brainer with how many injured starters the Sox have. He’s 27, making just $1.95 million this year, and he’s not eligible for free agency until after 2027. Also, I think the Sox may still have top waiver priority until the last day of this month, if information at the site below is still accurate, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a team work a trade for him before he gets placed on outright waivers in five days. https://www.purplerow.com/2009/2/19/762532/mlb-transactions-part-thre

And that’s cuz Getz had to jump to sign Slater, his number one priority bat of the offseason. 🤣 Slater and Tauchman signed for a combined $4 million. Hays signed for $5 million. Unfortunately, as Sox GM’s have not figured out over the years — quantity is not better than quality.

I was more getting at Getz choosing the wrong players.

It sure seems like Getz takes back exactly whom the other team wants him to take back in trades.

Not unless they have to chop it off cuz it’s the Dark Ages and Lord Meidroth got gangrene in it.

I doubt yet another injury occurring to the most injury-prone team in all of baseball that’s already also one of the worst teams in baseball is ruining anyone’s day. We all know that this is a shitshow.

The Sox have been tanking for years and still don’t have much to show for it other than a bunch of TJ surgeries.

The guy is barely a bench player and likely in AAA for any other team. Pretty awful.

Who cares about the Orioles? We have a team loaded with crappy players and crappy replacements.

A rebuilding team should have more young players in their pipeline to play over bad vets and career minor leaguers, especially when their current GM was with the team as director of player development from 2017 to 2020 and the assistant GM from 2021 to 2023. LOL.

Tray was talking about how great this young and up and coming Bulls team was a couple weeks back, while trying to give props to Reinsdorf because of it. 🤣

The evidence is overwhelming at what a bad GM this bum is and WE will defend him to the bitter end. Awful lineup, garbage bullpen, and a s%*# ass record. Getz is going to outdo his record setting season from last year and WE will still be blaming Hahn. 🤣

Haha, that was the most obvious ending of all time. I told my son it was going to happen before the match. Triple H just did a good job of doing it slowly, one betrayal after the other. Kevin Nash said in his recent podcast that you can’t have a good triple threat match because one guy has to stay injured and out of it for most of the match but that was probably the best one in history. All three guys stayed involved for the majority of the match. But Heyman betraying both Punk and Reigns was predictable as hell.

No reason to give that old bum innings. Getz built another record setting loser and there’s no bringing this team back to competition. May as well increase your chances at the number one pick.
