  1. They don’t. My son is on T-Mobile and I am on Xfinity Mobile for cell service and in different houses and he signs me up for it every year using my MLB.com account.
  2. Still not a fan of some of Venable’a lineup choices, not that he has a bunch of great players to pick from. But the offense looks like they could continue to do what they have already done in the first 4 games — be completely boom or bust.
  3. The team definitely looks much better than last year, but we will have to see how they fare against better competition. The Angels aren’t a good team and the Twins look like they could be the stinker of the AL Central.
  4. If the Sox bullpen pans out, heist up the Cubs in trades. Their bullpen looks like it is going to be putrid.
  5. If you want to play that game, you could list out plenty of worse players that are currently starting for this team.
  6. Couldn’t give up cash considerations for the guy, even though they just got some from trading Eder earlier today. Those can only go one way — into Jerry’s wallet. 🤣 Also funny is that the Pirates have a better outfield than the Sox and thought Canario was still worth adding. A bad team looking to improve. Go figure… He’ll probably play some LF along with old friend Tommy Pham.
  7. I believe we are still waiting to see if the Sox can draft, acquire, and/or develop an MLB hitter with a .786 OPS. We already know Vaughn couldn’t do it. Yes, he’s no great shakes but he’s better than cash considerations.
  8. It’s fun watching the roller coaster ride.
  9. In any case, the Mets are taking this down to the wire. But I would think that if a team was interested in trading for him, they would’ve done it by now. If he isn’t traded and makes it to waivers tomorrow, the Sox have first waiver claim priority.
  10. Where did you see this news? I haven’t seen that yet. As far as I know, the Mets have one more day to trade him before he hits a 48 hour waiver period.
  11. Bwahahahahaaa, Jerry’s favorite AGAIN!!! Jake Burger for cash considerations. I guess we now know which team didn’t win that trade.
  12. I didn’t include him since technically Hahn was the GM when he was signed. Getz was the assistant GM at that time.
  13. Vaughn is coming through here!
  14. I hope that isn’t the case. I would prefer a manager that realizes talent is more important to winning than personal relationships.
  15. Yet another Getz acquisition that no other team wanted to claim, all in only a year from Getz acquiring them… Zach DeLoach Steven Wilson Dominic Fletcher
  16. Didn’t Getz do pretty much the same thing last offseason — acquire a bunch of veterans that blocked young guys? One could argue that it made more sense last year because prospects weren’t ready yet, but this looks like a continuation of last year — old vets playing over young guys.
  17. Designated defender/pinch runner. Forfeit his at bats if he needs to bat. 🤣
  18. Unfortunately, managers also play favorites with their guys, even when the entire rest of the world knows that their favorites should be “last man on the bench” type players rather than starting games… https://cronkitenews.azpbs.org/2025/03/27/travis-jankowski-will-venable-hope-reverse-course/
  19. Agreed. Do we think Teel could be moving to 1B when Quero is called up? Who is better defensively at catcher — Teel or Quero?
  20. He was literally the latest acquisition and the last man on the roster. Very strange indeed.
  21. When they aren’t playing a man short to save a bit of money.
