  1. Now you are bashing me. Anything but bashing the Sox GM and team, which is the real problem. Like I said, it’s your MO.
  2. This is a Sox game thread in the “Pale Hose Talk” forum. Talking about the Sox GM in this thread and forum is more appropriate than talking about the Orioles’ woes, isn’t it? You seem to have some weird obsession with disassociating from the Sox suckiness by bashing other teams (that are better) and former Sox players like Cease. It’s your MO. None of this makes the Sox any better. Yep, they are still terrible.
  3. Eloy likely to be back on the IL soon, so Colas may get another chance to sit in the bench. Eloy is pathetic. Mr. Glass.
  4. Like I said, I hope some reporter asks the question — was Eloy still injured and Grifol played him anyways or did he reinjure himself running out of the box? He made a slow jog to first base on what should have been a double.
  5. It was hard to tell if he was still injured or if he reinjured himself running out of the box.
  6. Brought up in a Sox game thread for some reason? I also said Elias will likely swing a trade for a starter or two, just like he got Burnes at a bargain.
  7. When your team is the worst in baseball and looking like one of the worst in 162 game season history, look to bash a much better team? Sound strategy…
  8. Gunnar Henderson was an Elias draft pick as well — 42nd overall pick. So was Jordan Westburg — a 30th overall pick.
  9. Eloy is either still injured or just reinjured himself, lol. He couldn’t get to second on what should be a double down the 3B line for any other player. Dude was running the bases like TLR…
  10. Ortiz was a spare part to the Orioles, as they have better players for the entire infield. Hall is terrible.
  11. Stone just said the Sox will “pull back on Crochet’s starts at some point”, referring to an innings limit.
  12. I’m not talking about 2020. That was a different GM for the Sox. It was one question and you still didn’t answer it. Yes or no?
  13. One question for you to answer and that’s all I’ll need to know — would you trade places with the Orioles right now? The Sox MLB team, minor league system, scouts, development staff, and GM for the Orioles’ equivalent?
  14. Even with their injuries, I’d trade places with them all day long. And as we are discussing this, our team is down by 9 runs and looking at loss #58.
  15. He got Burnes for spare parts when many Sox fans were thinking that the great Getz would rob him of three top 100 prospects for Cease. There’s no reason to doubt Elias at this point.
  16. It’s okay to admit you were wrong and that he’s bad now. Yes, he used to be good but the dude is a couple months away from turning 38 years old. Dude is burnt toast for cripes’ sakes.
  17. They have young players that have panned out and the team is currently competing for the division. Their GM will no doubt make another shrewd move for a starter or two. Meanwhile, there is no guarantee that everything will go right for the Sox, that the majority of their prospects will pan out, and that they will ever compete for anything (see last rebuild). The Orioles are actually doing it NOW.
