6/12 Sox @ Seattle 8:40PM CT
He looks to be another outfielder that Getz and crew misidentified as having talent.

Steve Wilson back, Tim Hill DFAd
Until you add up all of the dumpster diving moves the Sox make each and every offseason, for guys that are on their last leg and get DFA anyways.

Getz is terrible.

From the 2nd row in Seattle: observations and s%*#
Haha, did Pedro actually think he was going to win and wanted to rub it in @chitownsportsfan’s face? What a ?.

Sox @ Seamen 6/11 8:40 CDT
If you were at gun point — Lopez or Madrigal?
-
Sox @ Seamen 6/11 8:40 CDT
Yep, he threw an absolutely straight 90 mph meatball but in the last at bat of the inning he threw a 93 mph fastball that had good movement that hit the low and outside corner. One fastball was awful and the other was good.

Sox @ Seamen 6/11 8:40 CDT
It was comical at least.

How much better would this team be if Ozzie was the manager?
What does this even mean? Are you referring to negative talk by the media and fans about the 17-50 Sox?

Story on Sox trade possibilities...
I tend to think Garfien has zero clue about minor league prospects. To him, it’s probably an amazing deal if it’s 5 of a team’s top 30 prospects with maybe one of them at the backend of the MLB top 100. He gets overexcited about quantity over quality.

White Sox calling up Thorpe
Which just goes to show that half or more of them will likely bust.

“… the Mariners.”

Story on Sox trade possibilities...
Baltimore. They probably wouldn’t trade Holliday alone for Robert, Fedde, and Kopech.

Grifol has assimilated you.

White Sox calling up Thorpe
Excitement up until the trade deadline when all of them are traded but Thorpe. ?

White Sox calling up Thorpe
Give me a shitty clubhouse of assholes that wins 100 games. Instead, we get guys that are always injured and their desire to actually play is questionable at best.
-
White Sox calling up Thorpe
So now exact number of games played is what matters, as if they still aren’t around the team?

White Sox calling up Thorpe
Moncada has played this season and is targeting a second half return. Eloy has also been with the team off and on this season. Now you are nitpicking to prove your point. But perhaps you have more insider access and sources to the Sox clubhouse than Jesse Rogers?

White Sox calling up Thorpe
Yes, what are you missing? When a player that wants to win sees these two lazy asses making millions and barely trying, what do you think that does to a clubhouse?

https://www.sportsmockery.com/chicago-white-sox/multiple-players-listed-as-reason-for-white-sox-bad-locker-room-culture/?amp Middleton, Grandal, and Sleepy Santos are gone. However, Moncada and Eloy are still here, albeit injured as usual.

If JR Hired me as Historian and Chief Tale Spinner
Yep, he doesn’t care. JR’s ego is likely massive, and rightfully so for many reasons — using his knowledge of the IRS and tax laws to amass his wealth via real estate. The problem is that he probably also thinks he’s a great baseball mind just because of his past successes in life. He’s the worst type of owner. One who only promotes his loyal minions and never stops meddling in front office decisions.

White Sox calling up Thorpe
You just made a statement that you can’t prove and said there’s no reason to make things up. We all know what’s going to happen after this season. News will come out, just like last season, about how cancerous the clubhouse was this year. It’s so obvious.

White Sox calling up Thorpe
How often do players do that? If anyone respected Grifol, they would have agreed with him and said they did in fact play “flat”. Afterall, they were losing countless games in a row. They intentionally disagreed with Grifol to the media to send a big middle finger his way, without having to say it directly to his face.

White Sox calling up Thorpe
I doubt Maldonado holds any weight these days, other than his own beer gut. The younger players, like Lee, are going to wonder why this old dude with 7 hits on the season is stealing his starting job when he can’t play defense these days either.

White Sox calling up Thorpe
And some players are still here from last year. The team has only gotten worse. Combine a terrible manager with terrible players and a terrible team and it isn’t a surprise to have a dysfunctional clubhouse.
