  1. https://www.fox32chicago.com/news/meet-company-behind-viral-cheese-grater-hats.amp
  2. I prefer to look at the actual stats he finished with over the past two seasons.
  3. The cheese grater hat was hilarious.
  4. Not reasonable at all considering his last two full seasons, healthy or not. His most recent two seasons of 856 plate appearances have been BAD.
  5. Bears Division Champions. 👍🏻
  6. Bears fans just collectively busted…
  7. This isn’t going the right way. 😢
  8. WTF was that. How do you Willis do that?
  9. Old school football. Run run run and play defense. Henry has 21 carries for 106 yards and 3 TD’s.
  10. Or the Reds were truly interested, Getz didn’t back down from his prospect demands and/or refused to include as much money as the Reds wanted, so the Reds pivoted to a cheaper platoon solution.
  11. Seems like it’s down to the Mets at this point, unless there is a mystery team™. I don’t buy the cheap Pirates ever being that interested and they also acquired Jhostynxon Garcia.
  12. So true. They just spent $2.32 million and their #18 prospect just to have a mediocre LF platoon and backup CF. Sounds like something the Sox would have done but the Reds beat them to the punch.
  13. The Reds needed another righty outfielder to platoon with Bleday and backup CF. Myers has hit lefties well in his short time. I doubt the Reds just traded their #18 prospect for Myers to not play him. LF: Bleday / Myers CF: Friedl / Myers RF: Marte They also have Lux and Benson to play the outfield. I think this pretty much ends the Robert to the Reds talk. Hopefully Getz doesn’t settle for Luisangel Acuña now. 🤢
  14. I agree with you for the most part, but you never know. Even a rookie/A ball guy may turn into something. Getz gave up Fajardo for Booser and he is now the Cardinals #9 ranked prospect. Getz just has to target the right return like under-the-radar guys.
  15. They can start Friedl in CF, Bleday in LF, and Marté in RF.
  16. Huh? ”Honestly disagree. His potential stability even if for 110 games and protection is likely worth more to the younger players in this line-up than whatever you get in a trade at this point.”
  17. Well, Boras is never good for your homegrown players, regardless of Jerry. He rarely considers contract extensions and almost always takes his clients to free agency.
  18. I don’t even like Bleday that much but for only $1.5 million… well, that’s peanuts. I’d rather see the Sox get back a decent CF prospect for Robert but the talk is that they are targeting pitching.
  19. You can give Billy Hamilton or the like a ST invite if you want a backup defensive CF.
  20. Well, if he becomes a star, he could always change to Boras. It’s what Robert did after his breakout 2023 season.
  21. Definitely. The Sox gave Derek Hill $900K. Bleday will be only $600K more plus possible incentives.
  22. Obviously it works both ways but the poster stated that Robert provided lineup protection, not that he needed it himself.
  23. But he can’t. He’s as injury-prone as Eloy and Moncada were.
  24. It would depend on if he broke out this year. Like coming back really strong or winning comeback player of the year. That might earn him his next $20 million dollar option. Otherwise, he’ll get a $2 million buyout.
