  1. They are proficient at losing.
  2. The truth finally comes out… “HULK HOGAN CAUSE OF DEATH MAY BE MEDICAL MALPRACTICE” Bubba the Love Sponge was all over this two months ago.
  3. I never said you feel any deep shame. Read your own previous post again. You directly contradict yourself in your first and last paragraphs of the post regarding wins and losses for a rebuilding team.
  4. Per WE’s final paragraph, losses don’t mean anything during a rebuild, yet he continues to talk about an improved, albeit still pathetic winning percentage of .400 since May 1st. So maybe only wins matter during a rebuild, but not the losses? As a result, Getz can never look bad! Amazing logic if your goal is to defend an awful GM.
  5. Your so called “peanut gallery” knew that it was just a hot streak. If it truly was due to a “different level of intensity”, where did that “different level of intensity” disappear to this month? Your favorite GM is currently on pace to not even win 100+ games in two entire seasons of 324 games of baseball. While the offense has improved some from being terrible last season, it’s still ranked one of the lowest in the MLB. Meanwhile, the rotation hasn’t taken a step forward outside of two starters in Smith and Martin. Burke and Cannon are still questions marks. And as usual, the bullpen is vomit-inducing. Considering you have actually used the Sox MiLB team records to prove a point about their overall farm development, it’s quite ironic that the Sox MLB record apparently isn’t as important to you and I am too focused on it. There is no narrative here, only facts. To quote Carlos Zambrano — “We stinks.”
  6. The proof is in the pudding, and the pudding is rotten… https://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/CHW/index.shtml
  7. You are trying to prove your point with a small sample size. This is like when you touted that the Sox were playing so much better based on a small stretch of games, rather than looking at their entire body of work, and that we all should have praised the job Getz has done as a result. Who is to say that Kopech would have continued on with the Sox being lights out for an extended period of time had he not been traded, just like he ultimately was with the Dodgers? We don’t know that would have happened. However, it actually did happen once he was traded to the Dodgers for a pretty good stretch (24 innings). The overall point being made is that many players seem to improve once they leave the Sox, and there are multiple examples. I don’t think this is some crazy conspiracy theory.
  8. You really need to work on your God complex. No one is buying it but you. Also, only Greg can talk about himself in the third person. You aren’t that cool. 🤣
  9. Hadn’t been paying attention to the Rockies much but this is awesome. Jerry and Getz deserve to retain the record. 🤣
  10. Compared to how far behind the Rockies were from the Sox earlier in the season, yes.
  11. Wow, that’s pathetic that the Rockies are even close to the Sox after how they started.
  12. 2023 doesn’t count since Getz wasn’t in charge yet… 😶
  13. I heard that Jerry recently asked Getz if he could build him a lineup of nine Meidroth’s.
  14. 41 wins last season. 56 win pace this season. Getz might not even hit 100+ wins in two full seasons (324 games).
  15. Just wait until they get hot again and back on that .500 pace! You’ll eat your words!
  16. If true, what a stud. Balls the size of grapefruits.
  17. Or have the Sox perhaps instilled that sort of culture over the years?
  18. Couldn’t option 1, option 2, or both be true? Both Kopech and Vaughn performed better after leaving the Sox.
