  1. You poor soul. And yep, I wonder if Jerry’s stupid thoughts on baseball players will change after he got what he wanted — a bunch of garbage players that can’t hit but supposedly can play defense and are GRINDERS!!! But we all know he has too big of an ego to admit he was wrong.
  2. With a Marlins win, the Sox now have the worst record in baseball, without any benefit in the draft.
  3. I don’t care that this is a rebuild and it was expected to be a losing season. Any GM who builds a lineup this historically bad should be out after their first year.
  4. Did you pound a Campfire Milkshake?
  5. Three of the greatest all time.
  6. 4 hits, 1 run. This team is definitely setting records.
  7. Justin Anderson, the sheep thrown to the wolves. I still can’t believe there are Sox fans out there that don’t think this offense will be historically bad.
  8. I don’t have them that low. I have them winning just under 52/53 games for the franchise worst winning percentage.
  9. Flexed didn’t flex. Unfortunate. I do admire him and his agent. He scammed Getz out of $1.75 million. Not much money for an MLB team but a lot of money for a terrible starting pitcher who hasn’t been good in 2+ years. How soon until Flexen is DFA? As terrible as he is, even I would have thought he would’ve lasted past 3 starts.
  10. That’s because my prediction at the time was 62 wins. Why would I accept a bet I think I would lose? I now think they could lose a few more but your offer is ridiculous because it is a historically bad record.
  11. No room for him on this amazing roster. Getz couldn’t cut anyone for him. I’d rather watch Nicky Lopez and Shewmake play 2B in this lost season.
  12. No, haha. Moncada has no problem sitting out of games. Oh wait, this was his last year before free agency so he had to prove himself. Honestly, it could go either way. Who knows?
  13. Can we share a Campfire Milkshake from that suite? Two straws?
  14. I’ll take that as a ban bet by the end of the season. We can even put it into our signatures to hold us to it. Interested?
  15. What do you consider a “moderately productive season”? You think Nicky Lopez is good so your expectations obviously aren’t very high. You said it, so you can define it. What to you is a “moderately productive season” for Sheets?
  16. Neither Andrew Vaughn nor Gavin Sheets will sniff some of the seasons Valentín had.
  17. The Sox have stuck with Sheets for the past two seasons as a part-time starter playing out of position to the tune of a sub-.700 OPS, even though he is a 1B by trade yet hits like a middle infielder. The Sox are going to ride his current hot streak until it ends and then ride him for another 250 at bats into the deep freeze of his upcoming and inevitable cold streak.
  18. Nope, didn’t know that. Thanks for informing me.
  19. Yet he didn’t argue that Wilson shouldn’t have pitched at all tonight. But I’m sure if Wilson started a second inning tonight after throwing those exhausting 7 pitches, his arm would have immediately detached from his body and flown into the stands.
  20. My post was obvious sarcasm. Go back and read the posts. See who called whose take meatballish first. It greatly offended me.
  21. Stop it with your meatball takes, meatball!
