The Ideal Job
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 4, 2007 -> 09:54 AM) In all seriousness, if you want tips, ask. There are a lot of people on here in different stages of their careers. There is a TON of good advice to be had, and maybe even industry specific stuff. Good luck! QUOTE(kapkomet @ Oct 4, 2007 -> 09:59 AM) Yea, good point. There's a lot of us here that's been through this stuff before - many of us remember very well what it was like to interview for the first time. Much appreciated guys. I may have to take you up on this at some point. I have an interview with someone I'd LOVE to work for next Thursday. I'm doing some heavy prep work for the interview; hopefully all goes well.

Frank Thomas
Nice back-handed compliment. With that being said, I'd rather have him on ESPN or in-studio as he is now, if he decides to get into TV.

I know the thread on the other board has to stem from carrying the Big Ten Network. Hopefully, it's on some kind of cable package, for where ever I end up after this year.- Bobby Freakin Jenks
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 1, 2007 -> 09:27 AM) Bobby Thigpen got his 57 saves on a really bad Sox team. I thought everyone loved the 1990 Sox, who went 94-68.- i am drunk

I'm happy with keeping AJ around. His numbers aren't spectacular, but he's not a hole for us. And before AJ, the Sox have always had a hole at catcher. We have no one waiting in the wings, and overall, I'd still consider AJ an asset to the club.- Official College Football Thread

Not cool Mackey. I will give him the benefit of doubt, until everything's out there. However, there's no way this will turn out positive; your name doesn't get linked to something like that on accident.- The Office
QUOTE(Soxy @ Sep 27, 2007 -> 10:53 PM) Could somebody please post a summary of the Office and Earl for those of us who couldn't watch? Gracias! Here's an Office recap, Soxy. http://www.tvsquad.com/2007/09/28/the-offi...season-premier/- The Official [SCRUBS] Thread

QUOTE(Cali @ Sep 27, 2007 -> 02:33 PM) I dug Chuck and Dirty Sexy Money, missed Reaper on Tuesday, but ill TiVo the replay tonight. Not really interested in many of the other new shows... Heroes was great, but not a fan of Peter Petrelli's amnesia, that f***ing LAME. How I Met your Mother is really hitting it's stride in season three. The premeire was Lege.... wait for it.....dary. 2nd best comedy on TV (The Office being number 1) Can't wait for 30 Rock, Scrubs and of course LOST Scrubs is my #1, but I love How I Met Your Mother and Two and a Half Men. Monday nights on CBS are solid stuff. - 2007 Post ASB White Sox Catch-All Thread
