QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 10:57 PM) Where's the Fire Ozzie thread.... his wheel play cost us, not cotts walk. reconstruct the inning with a DP(cuz that's what that ball was) in stead of the wheel play. Tie Game, 6-6. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can't assume double plays. Cotts f***ing sucked tonight.

I just saw it. It looked weak, and it appeared the dude was just swiping his hand at his buddy, then Sheff knocked a beer away from someone. A Red Sox fan ran across the field after the game though.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 01:30 PM) wow, sorry for all the bad grammer in there, I forgot to revise it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Grammar. Grandstand had them on clearance back in 2002, but I doubt they have any left in stock.

So much for the quality start. -
They were talking about this last night on Baseball tonight, and apparently Pujols still remembers pitch sequences from 4 YEARS AGO!

That thing is fun to play with. See if you can find your house.

3 of his 6 strike outs were due to f***ing Jake Peavy. :headshake -
Willis had a complete game shutout, again.

Borchard and Jay Gibbons.

Well thanks to the Kittens' overrated bullpen the Twins won tonight. Urbina pitched like s*** in the 8th blowing the one run lead, and Percival wasn't good in the ninth losing the game.

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 09:55 PM) I agree. Not very exciting. Very nice house obviously, but nothing to flashy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Too," not "to." Whoops! Wrong thread!

The Marlins got another complete game, and have now outscored their opponents 40-15. Now accoding to the horses*** Bill James Pythagorean Theorem, they should be 7-1, but they are 4-4. Also, Milton Bradley had a sac fly BUT he still reached first base. The ball was dropped by Michael Tucker.

QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 05:08 PM) Agreed. We were stupid not to dish out the cash for him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We received two draft picks for the yankees giving him $7 million. I loved Gordon, but we really shouldn't try to fight the Yanks.

QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 07:22 PM) Town and Country Lanes on Jefferson St. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No s***? They have the best lanes in town.

QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 07:30 PM) Here's some useless trivia for you guys -- DJ (not Darrin Jackson) is married to Valeri Bure... http://imdb.com/name/nm0121026/bio <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I believe Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey, dude in the Alanis Morissette song, Todd Hollandsworth lookalike) introduced her to him. He is a huge hockey fan. "Cut, it, out!!!" :headshake

QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 01:56 PM) I just seen the coolest thing at my local bowling alley. They have a league that is dedicated solely to the White Sox and they have a White Sox bowling pin for the league...it is awesome. I am trying to talk them into selling it to me but its a no go thus far... I need to find one. Funny thing is though the owner of this bowling alley is a Scrubs fan so its funny to have to see him promote the Sox hehe <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which lanes?

QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 06:54 PM) If he was in our rotation who do you think would be higher garcia or pineiro? I know who i would put. Fact is through out pinero's career he has been a better pitcher than garcia. Now i am not saying i do not like garcia just saying who i would rather have. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I honestly haven't seen Pinero pitch enough, but as he has pitched more innings each year, his WHIP and ERA increased. I'd put him as our number 3, but I can't see him being above Garcia. -
QUOTE(T R U @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 06:46 PM) this is a dam sox massage board.. not a profesional place of buisness... mistakes happen.. why dont you just let it go its not even a big deal.. god dam <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The corrected version: QUOTE(T R U @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 06:46 PM) This is a damn Sox message board, not a professional place of business where mistakes happen. Why don't you just let it go? It's not even a big deal. God damn! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This isn't directly right at you TRU, but if people write like 5 year olds, I have to believe that I'm having a converstion with a 5 year old. EDIT: You said "massage" board instead of "message." Any "happy endings" at this massage board?

QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 06:11 PM) When healthy yes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No offense, but you're sounding like a Cub fan with this "when he's healthy" s***. Give me results over potential. -
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 05:37 PM) Perhaps you've never heard of a hold before. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Holds are more meaningless than saves. Personally, I hate the save rule because a 3-run lead is a reasonable lead to protect, and there is a misconception that if a "closer" has a lot of saves or has a good save conversion % he is a good pitcher. Billy Koch and Jose Mesa are not good pitchers, yet they made huge bucks because of the dumbass save stat. :headshake

QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 11, 2005 -> 04:46 PM) Two cheap ass saves for shingo already. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know. I f***ing hate the save rules.
