  1. Big 3rd down here. Lets stop em. Two near turnovers by the Panthers. I smell a hit on the QB.
  2. Huge grab by Proehl.
  3. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 03:38 PM) "I'm not going to point out positions but I could've had some more blocking help." That's close to what he said. What a prick. I was laughing at how he kept blaming his Wr's early in the game. You could tell Manning was shaken and he wasn't able to set his feet and he would blame his Wr's for bad passes. Maybe more people can see that he's a little baby.
  4. Don't be mistaken. Gowens is a good RB as well. One thing thats hurt is the Panthers are getting good field position. A nice turnover will help get the ball back for our Bears though. Come on Defense!!!
  5. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 03:44 PM) Wasn't the knock on Berrian that he was a bit soft? Since he came back from his injury, he's been impressive, even more impressive today. One thing about Berrian and Bradley is they both can make plays after the catch. Getting Bradley back to go with Berrian and Mus and I think we'll be in good shape. Find a play-making TE and even better shape. I'd still like to find another posession type WR but Gage could very well turn into that guy. Him and Moosh the slower guys with Bradley and Berrian the big play guys.
  6. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 03:41 PM) Berrian is a f***ing stud. Thats the bottom line. That was a man of a catch. Unbelievable hit he took. I don't know how he held onto it.
  7. Now we can't get too pass happy. I'm with Aikman in the sense we need to stick with the run and not get one dimensional. At the same time I'm sure the Panthers used a similar game plan as the Giants game and because of that they may have some trouble adjusting to stop the pass since I don't think they expected it to be much of a factor. They were gonna make Rex beat him and if the Bears defense can stop up and the offense can keep moving, than I think we got a shot. Now come on Special teams, pin em back and let the defense get to work.
  8. What a f***ing catch by Berrian to get us to the 1 or 2 and a ballsy call to go to the air and we throw a TD pass to Clark on 1st down.
  9. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) Me too. Did you hear his comments after the game? No, what did he say?
  10. Nice...1st down and we are around the 25 of the Panthers
  11. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 03:24 PM) I'm not going to go find it, but when one week this year when the bears lost and the colts won, after bears fans were flipping out, you put in italics "a great day all around" Also, the "who would win" thread between the bears and colts that you created... I thought that was by Heads.
  12. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 03:23 PM) he is having an absoultely AWFUL game. What's the status on Azumah? is he up to speed where he can take over in the second half? He's been playing in nickel situations.
  13. Can't speak for most Bears fans, but I absolutely despise Peyton Manning. He's by far the player I hate the most in the NFL and is actually the player I hate most in professional sports. So I take joy when he loses, especially in the playoffs. It has nothing to do with the Colts with me. Now I am rooting for the Bears to come out and smack the Panthers in the 2nd half and get this game back.
  14. I'm proud of what the Bears brought us this year, especially because I have no doubt we will build upon things next year. That said, I don't think our season is over just yet. I expect this team to come out and play its best half of football of the season.
  15. Field goal good. We got burned calling that timeout. I agreed with the line of thought but we failed. Gonna be huge how we start the 2nd half offensively.
  16. Back to basics people...now the defense is gonna have to shut em down and keep them at 13. Offense is going to have to continue to improve and get back to fundementals.
  17. Now lets hold them to finish the half and get the ball back. Very nice drive for the Bears.
  18. Come on guys, now isn't the time to slam each other. We are in the playoffs...those of us that are here cheering for the Bears are all Bear fans. Lets get this TD.
  19. Wow, what a tackle by the Panthers corner. I thought that was gonna be a TD for sure. This is a gutsy call because points mean a lot at this point. That said we are banging on the door and hopefully they can get it in. I've never been confident when it comes to us running in short yardage. Hopefully we can block and get the TD cause I expect this ball to be in Thomas Jones hands.
  20. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 02:52 PM) Orton would have sucked just as bad. Grossman's passes aren't even that bad. Moose and Gage are dropping everything and they would have dropped the same passes for Orton. 13-0 Panthers. Good thing our players talked trash. All week I kept telling people the Bears players needed to shut the f*** up. My thought have long been that action's speak louder than words. Bears need to calm down and stop trying to force things on offense. Defensively, stick with their game plan, adjust down and make sure you have a safety helping whoever's on Tillman and hope we can get to Jake and force some pressure to create some turnovers.
  21. Guys who gives a s***. right now Grossman is in. Its time for the team to rally around him and get back to basics. Protect the qb and run block. Wr's need to catch the ball and Grossman needs to take a few breaths, forget whats happened and go out and throw strikes. This game isn't over and its time to start battling back.
  22. s***, he fumbled and it bounced back to him. We are getting destroyed. All blue jerseys there and somehow it bounces right back to Foster.
  23. Brown is out, maybe for the game. Ogunleye is questionable with a hammie injury.
  24. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 02:44 PM) Ron Turner showing why he lost a job at Illinois yet again today. Dude doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. CALL. A. RUNNING. PLAY. !!! Max Protect...start throwing towards the sidelines and run some posts to the middle of the field. Take advantage of all the guys playing close to the LOS.
