Favorite Childhood Smells
QUOTE(Texsox @ Aug 24, 2005 -> 06:51 AM) I am researching a new trend in marketing and was wondering what your favorite childhood smell is. It would also be helpful if you would also add what decade that would be from. crayons -- 60s for me. christmas trees. Nothing smells better than a christmas tree in the house (imo). The holidays are by far my favorite time of the year.

Laguna Beach..
QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 24, 2005 -> 01:03 PM) It is.. Jason, you mentioned you met "kristin" before. Is she nasty...? I hear she is nasty. Ya, she's definately not near as good in person. However, she's definately as big of a b*tch in person (if not more) than she is on tv. TV brings out the best of her. Personally I think the hottest on that show is Jessica (I think thats her name). Although she's retarded for sticking with that Jason character.

Beef, Dogs, or Pizza?
QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Aug 24, 2005 -> 01:02 PM) Yeah, but Cali Boys put pineapple on their pizza too. I'm not a pineapple person, but my dad would whoop ya on that. He loves getting canadian bacon and pineapple, but I think he does that simply because he knows I'll whine about having it having pineapple on it But don't knock on our mexican food, cause it owns all. We got better mexican food than mexico.

Beef, Dogs, or Pizza?
QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 24, 2005 -> 12:06 PM) I can not stand people at the park, or anywhere for that matter, who say s*** to me when I put ketchup on my hot dog. Ya know what.. stfu and mind your own damn business. Whether I get a brought or a dog, I'm putting ketchup and mustard on it. If its a brat some sweet peppers are a must as well for me.

If your gonna whine and jump off a cliff
Official thread for people to utter complaints or just get stuff off their chest about the Sox. I figure there are so many of them popping up that I better just put them all in one thread. Feedback appreciated, but this will keep the board a bit cleaner, imo.

Aaron Rowand a coward?
Cleaned up this thread a bit and took care of the poster who was making personal attacks.

Arizona Fall League
I had heard that Young was going to play.

Arizona Fall League
I know Corwin Malone is going to be there and I'm trying to think of a few other names I heard but I can't think of it this second.

White Sox Trade Thread
Ray isn't a bad option and he can definately produce. I don't know what I'd do with him next year though, but when it comes to things like that, I'd worry about figuring that out over the off-season (heck maybe deal him during the off-season if necessary).

If players reamined on their original teams...
QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Aug 22, 2005 -> 05:45 PM) Definitely...he has been solid for the Nats. It was tough coming up with a bullpen out of former sox draft picks...pretty sad really And I told you the Sox would do it on Sunday....once you had distanced yourself from the cell Its tough though cause the Sox have had guys in their system, I think it be interesting to base this lineup both on guys they drafted and guys they have developed.

Reese, Worrell and Gray out for the year
Ouch...those are some losses. Reese was a decent looking backup and Worrel was a solid special teamer while Gray was what I'd call a solid player that good lay the lumber.

If players reamined on their original teams...
Gary Majewski could fit into the bullpen.

AJP
I'm wondering...is someone just photoshopping these?

QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Aug 22, 2005 -> 04:59 PM) Josh Paul :puke BTW is he still with the cubs organization? He's been with the Angels for two years now (this is his 2nd season). He's rarely used but has been a mainstay on the major league roster.

Moving...
Twice when I was too young to remember. I was born in Newport, lived in one place till my folks moved to a little bigger place. Than they bought a house when I was about 4 and I lived there till I was 13 or so (its the place I grew up in). When my folks got divorced they sold the place and I've moved a pretty good amount since. My mom has moved 4 times while my dad has moved 6 times. The good news is I haven't moved in few years (I've turned into a total pro though), but my dad told me he's putting the house up for sale in a few weeks (he'd been hinting at it for a while). So 10 times since I was 13 (but its kind of cheating cause my parents are apart...and I've lived in the same city for 18 years of my life).
