I'm looking into it. Waiting to get a login info to the help forum so I can check out the bugs that are being reported. I messed all around the control panel and thought I got them but obviously didn't.

Nothing but itunes. I think all of the others are garbage, specifically real and windows media. Never really used winamp that much, for whatever reason I never liked the layout of it. Itunes = AWESOME I may just need to pony up the dough in a few months for an ipod.

QUOTE(qwerty @ Jan 3, 2005 -> 02:33 PM) I only see a quote plus box and then reply. I am using netscape so i am confused. To the right of the quote plus box you should see one more that just says quote. At least thats what i see. Is everyone else seeing that and since your using netscape I don't think Browsers would have an effect cause Mozilla is essentially an open source version of netscape.

I remember this being posted a while ago and all of us having a pretty good size discussion about it. I think it was Mr. Eye who eventually brought up some pretty good evidence that this conspiracy theory is just that.

QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jan 3, 2005 -> 12:56 PM) Kingpin! I haven't seen that movie in a long time. Ishmael: I am so sloshed! Bowling Alley Owner: That's ginger ale. Kingpin is great, god I love that movie. I finally saw it like a year ago and have watched it a few times since. Only gets funnier.

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jan 3, 2005 -> 12:43 PM) Wow, I agree with every description you gave to each movie. I was VERY disipointed in DodgeBall, but loved Old School. All the American Pies are kinda classics to me now to, I love them. The 1st American Pie and American Wedding were both quite funny. 2nd one wasn't as good. First is a classic to me.

QUOTE(SoIL @ Jan 3, 2005 -> 02:26 PM) I'm not seeing a plain quote button. I'm using Opera for a browser. Would that have anything to do with it? Look on the bottom right. You should see a quote box and then a quote+ box that has a black outline around it. Click on the quote box. I think thats your issue. Hopefully there isn't a bug with opera. If there is I'll go look up for a fix on it. I use mozilla and everything seems to work great with it.

Cool looking. I used the 3rd one at TEP. God I'm looking forward to getting back out there again this year. Its always my sign that baseball season is finally here

QUOTE(SoIL @ Jan 3, 2005 -> 02:15 PM) Can someone tell me why what I'm quoting are not showing up in the quote box? I have been hitting the quote button, but that ain't working. Hit the plane quote button, not the one with the quote plus. The quote plus is if you want to quote multiple posts.

QUOTE(Man Of Steel @ Jan 3, 2005 -> 12:46 PM) I agree, I think adding AJ would make us a near lock to win the division this year.. our pitching is better than it has been in a while I refuse to say the Sox are favorites for the division. They aren't the favorites in my mind until they finally win the division and are the defending champs.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jan 3, 2005 -> 11:55 AM) Crap.. if Kenny keeps doing things like this I'm not going to have anything to b**** about at the Q&A.. LOL Steff, wouldn't it be funny if you and got on the mic and actually gave Kenny praise. I think he'd probably fall off the stage in shock, lol. Here's to hoping were all feeling good about the team by then and I think we will be

You guys can have Moreno...I can see it now....The Chicago Cubs of the South Side Now the question is whether we get season tickets or not, cause this makes Moreno such a big ass bag in my book.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 3, 2005 -> 10:31 AM) As much as I, among other people complain about KW. I can't complain about his work ethic as GM. I've long said one of my big reasons I like Kenny is no matter what you know he's not going to sit there. If something opens up that will make this team better in his mind, he'll do whatever it takes to get there. I couldn't even imagine what he'd be like if he had a big budget.

QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ Jan 3, 2005 -> 08:42 AM) i agree, but if we get iguchi, will we have enough money for pierz? thats all i care about, i bet cora would cost less, but sounds like iguchi has more talent. and if we get pierz what happens to davis and burke im guessing burke is sent to the minors? The Sox have roughly 6-7 mill free. I think the Sox could get both guys at 3 mill a year, maybe less. Doesn't mean they will though as I'm sure other teams have offers in and maybe those other teams are more attractive to Pyrz and/or Iguchi. I do think the Sox have the money, if they want payroll at 75 mill. However, Kenny may want to leave 3-4 mill in the coughers for June/July to add another player. At that point Kenny can maybe finally make a deal without getting a bunch of cash thrown the Sox way meaning the Sox have to give up an extra prospect or two or a really good one instead of two solid ones.

There has to be a lot of cash going the Dbacks way otherwise this move makes absolutely no sense to me. I just don't see acquiring Green, paying his mega huge contract this year and signing him to an extension and giving up a guy like Navarro plus a starting pitching prospect or even two more prospects. Good move by the dodgers, but I'm thinking they must be sending 6 mill or so at the very least. But I haven't really understood what Arizona is doing. I'll say this, they are a much better team then they were last year, but I still don't agree with them. Ortiz, Webb, Vazquez isn't all that bad of a 1-3. Also, don't forget that this deal gives the Dodgers some payroll flexibility. My guess is they may re-enter for Odalis Perez or of course have the money to get Pyrz for a year. Thats simply because I don't think any catcher at 20 is truly ready for a full season in the majors, although Joe Mauer was a rare exception to that and Navarro seems to be potentially the real deal.
-
I hope its not true and if it is I'm rather pissed that the Sox would of given him a contract knowing that. I'd of pulled a Paxson and pretty much demanded my players to come into camp in shape. I think there is no excuse for anything but coming into camp ready to play and in as good of shape as you can be in.

Billy must know that it isn't wise to deal a guy when his value is low. I think Zito will be dealt, but I'm guessing they see what the A's do first before dealing him. If they aren't in the race at the deadline (which I think is a good possibility) and if Zito is back to his old self, Beane's going to get a lot more for him then.
