  1. I think Frank struggles because of the mental aspect. Everything with this guy is mental, imo. As far as playing him first, play him 2 games a week at first. That should be enough to keep him in a groove and keep him from overthinking too much. The rest of the time let PK play first and maybe let Daubach play DH one of the days PK isn't playing first. Either way it should keep Frank and Paulie fresh.

I think I'm gonna have to check this movie out for the sheer comedy factor. I heard on the radio today that it grossed 36 freaking million. How the hell did so many people go watch this movie, I'll never know, but I guess it shows just how powerful people named Jason really are

I'm a big Kordell backer and I think he's a huge upgrade over Jim Miller. I could see the Bears winning 10 games and I can also see them winning 5 or 6 games. If they are healthy, have a solid rushing attack (Meaning they have a solid performance out of the Oline) then I think they will be a playoff football team. If they can't do that, it will be a long year.
  4. 6ft 155 LBS.
  5. I see things the same way. The sox obviously have the talent, now we just need that miracle to push the rest in motion........... or a REAL Manager. Thats what pisses me off. We have to wait for a miracle while a team with a real manager would have a safe cushion in first place or at least I feel it would.
  6. I dont see anything wrong with a straight guy mentioning that another guy is good looking. Its normal, if you ask me. I know one thing, other girls call other girls hot all the time. So how is it any different for guys? I do know though that many guys aren't willing to say that. I am probably one of them. There is just something about me that doens't like calling another guy attractive. Like if my sister would ask me is the guy hot, I'd be like, see for yourself And no I'm not homophobic.
  7. Yes I do. I think you have to. There has to be something in you every year that says if these things happens, then the team has a shot. Right now I see a lot of reasons why the team has a shot (On Paper), but everytime i watch them play, they show me why they don't have a shot. I still have hope.
  8. No, I don't think Hawk is a switch hitter, but if he is, that doesn't change him. He's still a kick ass announcer and if him calling Neal Cotts fine means Cotts pitches better, then I'll call him fine too. I know Steff will
  9. Such as a player on the 25 man roster getting injured after that point. That is how Krod got on last year. I thought there was no deadline. Now that I'm sure of that, I am wondering if the Sox will do anything in the next week or so. One thing I'm curious to know is what happens if they play this next week like the previous week. Would the Sox be willing to trade any of the guys they added. I'm guessing that the Sox won't sell. From the quotes made by KW during the deadline, they never once thought of themselves as sellers and I couldn't see them doing it now, but its always a possibility.
  10. Just wondering when the waiver trade deadline is?
  11. Ya, I think your one of the ones thats an anonymous viewer. Doesn't really matter either way. As far as those that it logs out a lot, that would have to do with how your computer accepts cookies and its really difficult to make it where it works perfect on everyones computer. I know on 98% of them it should keep you logged in for months. I know that I almost never have to relogin unless I clear my cookies.
  12. He kind of has 4 pitches because he varies speeds on all of his pitches a couple ways.
  13. I like Cotts quite a bit, so if I'm Einhorn I'd bring in a closer if possible. Its too bad the Sox couldn't of landed Benitez cause he really would of been nice along-side Marte and Gordon.
  14. I'd think that the easiest to dump would be Frank Thomas, especially if he opts out of his contract or neither team accepts the option. I'd have to think if Frank puts the pressure on the Sox to accept the option, then Frank won't be a White Sox. He hit his milestone 2000th hit and 400th homer with the Sox and thats going to be it unless he's willing to realize he's no longer a 3 hole hitter and is willing to be in the 5 hole. If thats the case then you'd send Paul Konerko elsewhere (As both Paulie and Thomas are classic 5 hole hitters). The flaw with that is the Sox now have a need in the 3 hole, which could be filled by Miguel Tejada (Who could also go to the 4hole with Maggs in the 3 hole or even Carlos Lee there) with Reed and someone else at the top of the order. Then in the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th slots you have a mix of Crede, (Our DH), Olivo, and whoever is playing in the infield.

So when are you going to go up on Open Mic Night and give your act a try?
  16. I know one thing...if the Sox make the playoffs they will have earned it cause they got a hard ass schedule ahead of them and the only way they will get in is by playing good baseball against the best teams.
  17. Mark Prior. I also would love a healthy Pedro Martinez. If JR was the owner and he couldn't pay those two the money, Carlos Zambrono ranks pretty high up there with me.
  18. Momentum is meant to be changed. For a while the Sox had it, now the Twins have it and I'm sure its gonna change a few more times between now and then. The key is to play good baseball for the longest time and stay consistent. Sox have failed to do so thus far, but they are lucky...as the rest of the division has as well. Basically you can throw the season to date out and start things off fresh cause at 2 games back its basically like a fresh start for pretty much all of the 3 teams in the division.

Gonna move this off topic. I guess we know what kind WSC is
  20. I have hope. They are playing like crap, but two games out is two games out.
  21. I Think the attacks have been harsh. I'm sure most of it has to do with the Sox playing like crap. BUt I do need to add...that personal wars aren't to be handled here. This is the place to have fun talking Sox baseball as well as other things. Sure some people disagree, but we all are Sox fans and lets not forget that.

Dane is so damn funny. Bob Marley was pretty funny too. Did he have some new material Cali?
  23. Anyone want to explain to me what those numbers mean
  24. Anyone else think that if the Twins win this, they may be the favorites in the Central at least at this point in time.
