He's solid defensively, good on the paths, and a solid hack hitter. When he's gotten more extended at bats he's been decent. As a whole that is not a pretty looking list though. It sucks cause Becks is a total stud defensively. He's just a wreck offensively. The worse part is, a lot of it is mental (he's got a horrendous approach and zero confidence and as a result he swings at crap and tinkered/ruined his swing).

Flowers looked good in his at bats today.

I might be overconfident, but if it is for a few games, I'm fine with Flowers. I still think he can be a league average starting catcher. Defensively he's made great strides and offensively he doesn't exactly have the type of low maintenance swing bench players need.
