  1. We get to go home tonight at 8:00. Yay!!!
  2. I wasn't very clear on the phone, so a slight correction is in order... hehe Alissa Jeannette. Two weird spellings of both names - of course picked out by yours truely. Scary, eh? We are both worn out. Poor mom pretty much had some sort of labor for over two days; so she's resting, finally, and I'm about to myself after camping out on the hospital room floor for three nights in a row. Thanks everyone for the well wishes and prayers. Kap
  3. QUOTE(Young Gun @ May 6, 2006 -> 02:24 PM) Hopefully all is good now. Actually we still have two pieces of the upgrade to go. However, an interim step was taken to ensure security until the last pieces can be completed. At some point in the next few days we'll see a service interuption to where nothing will be up (not any soxtalk.net or anything) for a short period - for an hour or two. Then, we will finish the last step shortly after that's done. After those two pieces are done, we'll be fan-tas-tic.
  4. The KIDS GET OUT OF SCHOOL IN TEXAS FOR THIS s***! Do you believe that? What a joke.
  5. Ultimately, pitching and defense is what will win us another title, as well as the ability to scratch and claw to wins in the playoffs. We all know this, but in the regular season, just 'get ir done' is all that matters.
  6. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ May 4, 2006 -> 11:32 PM) No need to apologize....I live off this site. You guys do a great job and I can not thank you enough. Actually, chisoxfn shouldn't be the one apologizing, I should be. I had an order to upgrade this stuff 6 weeks ago but I cancelled it. Well, obviously, that's biting me in the ass now. We'll get it done this time, so hold tight.
  7. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 4, 2006 -> 11:50 PM) Done and Done WOAH, holy s***! It's still here!
  8. QUOTE(Young Gun @ May 3, 2006 -> 01:28 AM) Are you guys updating to 2.1.5? Yes.
  9. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 2, 2006 -> 08:21 PM) In that case, does that mean that there's some sort of a "40 pill dividing line" built into the law, where maybe it's more costly to do this sort of behavior a lot, and the plea agreement was that they'll only agree to have him settle on the lower pill level? Just guessing. You all are looking for a problem here when there isn't one. Imagine that. He was charged for "doctor shopping". If one obtains a presecription from another doctor for the same medication in 30 days, whether it's 1 pill, 40 pills, or 2,000 pills, the law states you can't do it. Period. That was the charge he pled 'not guilty' to. Can we stop this now? /waiting for the 8,000 links that tell me I'm wrong.
  10. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ May 2, 2006 -> 04:38 PM) Didn't you admit to getting there after it was over? The accounts that I've heard are different from yours, and it sounded like there was certainly a buzz and rally atmosphere during the march and main speakers. YOU *WANT* this to be more then it was. Thanks for clarifying this.
  11. QUOTE(Texsox @ May 2, 2006 -> 05:47 PM) I really don't care. It isn't that big a deal. So as to not prolong this thread I will agree; The rehab, the plea agreement, was all Rush trying to get this over quickly. He is a VICTIM of a politically motivated attack. He's not guilty of anything. He only had an extra 40 pills. See? Good for you. You're coming around.
  12. QUOTE(Texsox @ May 2, 2006 -> 03:38 PM) That was what they agreed to. If that was all Rush thought the DA had, and he was not guilty, do you think he would have settled? Remember this was all negotiated, and I would hope the goal was to aid the individual in seeking help and keeping off the drugs. No it was NOT what it was agreed to. The DA said the original charge was over 40 pills, that had NOTHING to do with what was "agreed to" on Friday.
  13. BTW, the '40 pills' number came from the DA's office itself. That's interesting, isn't it?
  14. As usual, the truth is somewhere in the middle of the Hannity rant and the MSM.
  15. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 2, 2006 -> 09:46 AM) This boycott is stupid s***. They come here to make money then try to negatively impact the nations economy. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. OH NO... VICTIM!! VICTIMS IS ALL THEY ARE!!!! VICTIMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. All I have to say is HELL f***ING YEA!!!!!!!!! on Edmonton beating Detroit. What a 3rd period for Edmonton.
  17. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 1, 2006 -> 09:28 PM) So, thanks to a lawsuit by Judicial Watch, by May 10th the Administration is required to release the secret service logs showing how often Jack Abramoff visited the White House. We'll see. Because that's REALLY important stuff to know. :rolly
  18. LMAO! A day without Gringos... That's what they are calling this in Mexico.

    QUOTE(YASNY @ May 1, 2006 -> 08:05 PM) Maybe they are playing over their heads, or maybe they've got a good mix of young but maturing ballplayers along with some solid veterans and proven manager. That right there is the key to me.
  20. Kinky's, well, Kinky.
  21. QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ May 1, 2006 -> 05:24 PM) Keep this in mind: This movement of protests started when a bill passed the house that would instantly felonize 12 million people and make it a felony to give a homeless immigrant a place to stay or a hot meal at a soup kitchen. And that's coincidence. That's not the direct reason for the inital protests.

    QUOTE(knightni @ May 1, 2006 -> 08:04 AM) 4. Explain to Pods that he needs to not use his groin at home so that he can use it at work to steal bases. Not.gonna.happen. I mean, you wouldn't stop using it at home if you had that, now would you?
  23. Hmmm... VICTIMS! VICTIMS OF THEIR OWN SUCCESS! I bet they're retired because they got so wealthy and fat off us rich-ass Americans who wanted to pay "cheap" labor.

    QUOTE(bulokis @ May 1, 2006 -> 01:42 PM) It does sound like Rooney was on that commercial. It could be cause it is? And it's a GONER, could be the first clue, besides the voice.
