  1. QUOTE(CubKilla @ Jan 14, 2005 -> 03:16 PM) Shut up. You sound like a damn Cub fan. At least proclaim that, "This year is OUR year," before prognosticating WS match-up's involving a team that hasn't won a WS since '17 and hasn't been in a WS since '59.
  2. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Jan 14, 2005 -> 04:51 PM) Fast: Pods, Iguchi, Rowand, Uribe, (Harris) Average: Dye? Slow: Frank, Paulie, AJ My winning formula is fast guys get on, slow guys knock em in. Don't forget Crede. He's like around the average (really about below average) range.
  3. That's a hellofa a article and a hellofa person right there.
  4. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 05:14 PM) Early on, yes. Whole game? No. More like the first quarter. Hinrich on the other hand... First and early on in the second but later on Hinrich and Gordon were on fire (esp. Gordon) from three point range so it all offsets basically. This team has a good chance to go 17-18 against the Knickerbockers.
  5. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 04:44 PM) You were watching a different game right? Grdon was playing fine defense on him. Hinrich on the other hand was getting burned every time you looked. You got to be kidding me Aj. Me and WHarris1 can tell you ourselves that AI was ownin Gordon esp. early in the quarters. (Iverson had some mean crossovers on Gordon, he just couldn't be stopped early then sucked it up around the 3rd quarter.) But like Mike said, AI does it every night on a nightly basis. I was very happy of Gordon somewhat containing him and this is a rookie. He'll be a fine defender in a couple years.
  6. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 03:25 PM) Jimenez sucks. He was actually a good player, it's just his attitude and lazyness really made him look bad.
  7. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Jan 12, 2005 -> 09:55 PM) Jugger... You need to get a woman and by the looks of it badly... LOL Surprised that's in green.
  8. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jan 12, 2005 -> 08:17 PM) Not what they said on the news. I know I was just saying. No need to explain Aj.
  9. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jan 12, 2005 -> 03:19 PM) Both gordon and davis will be coming off the bench tonight according to the news. Davis is starting.
  10. http://www.dailysouthtown.com/southtown/yr...uth/122syt4.htm Well.. all ima say is this.. I knew about half of those who were involved/got away with it. Three of the dudes I know got arrested and 2 gilrs aren't lookin very pretty anymore lets say. This is really ridiculous. There is cops in our school with sticks, guns, cuffs and dogs since my friends brother got arrested today for having weed sacks/marajuana. I'll explain in more detail later, how it happened etc.. Didn't see the kid who got Tazered, but I heard alot about it and of course he's in the hospital from it.
  11. It won't happen. Just another rumor that won't go till Spring Training. Kenny might just be lookin at some proposals, or still might deal for him by the trading deadline if he's having a good year, but as of right now.. no.

    Ignore Feature

Haven't decided yet. Noone is on right now, and I'm not sure if I'll put a couple posters on it even though I'm sure some posters know who they are..
  14. Late bloomer maybe? I hope so for our sake if we do keep him around.
  15. Agreed Jas. They did lose to The Bucks when they were really bad, but I think the Bulls can make it 14-18.

    pain and death

I'd rather not post in this thread on a deep matter. Too many deaths I've seen/heard from and been through a ton of pain (mentally and phisically) in my life. Scary.. life is.. scary. Great thread though hi8is.
  17. QUOTE(raff @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 11:56 PM) i would trade myself to phili, they have good steak sandwiches. I've been to Philly and if you haven't tried their Philly cheese steaks you are seriously missing out. I went about 3-4 years ago and I can still take that PCS in my mouth.
  18. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 01:10 AM) Bonds was a big reason for all those double plays. He was never one to ground into them very much before he was in san fran batting behind bonds. Pierz mostly batted 6th in SF's line-up so he did ground into many DP's this year. But IMO, it was just a bad year for him. His average was down, obp was even lower, and yes, his DPs did go up. I think a change of scenery, going back to the AL, and a fresh start to the Sox here should help him alot.
  19. I'm at a relatives house looking at "things." on t.v
