Well, I'm a big believer in the theory that the hottest teams going in are the most dangerous. And you're right, I shouldn't have said the Philly 'pen was good. Overall it hasn't been that great. But it has been great the last 3 weeks or so. And you're right, Kendrick will have to prove himself in the playoffs. But you can say that about a lot of the pitchers for the NL teams. We shall see. I will make fun of you when the Phillies go to the WS.

Explain yourself, Rowand. I think the Philles have as good a chance as any team in the NL. They have the best offense in the NL. They're on an incredible roll right now. Is it pitching? Well, Hamels and Kendrick is a nice 1-2 punch. I'll admit the rest of their rotation doesn't look that great. They've got a good bullpen. I just don't see how you can say they have no shot.

The Pats WILL NOT go 16-0. But they are without question the best team in the NFL right now.

Well, I don't care enough about either team to really get into a big argument. All I know Holliday didn't touch home. You can come up with whatever you want to come up with. He didn't touch home. It was a great, great game, though. I can't wait until this series starts. I expect lots and lots of offense.

I can kind of see where Kenny is coming from in this article. When people think rebuild, you think 100% start from scratch. Kind of like the Marlins did a few years back. Well, when you've got guys like Buehrle, Garland, Vazquez, Contreras, Jenks, Konerko, Dye and Thome - you're not starting from scratch. That's juat a fact. Now, does that mean we don't have a ton of holes that need to be filled? Absolutely not. I think Kenny just saying it's not like we don't have anything to build off of. This is a big, big summer for Kenny. He knows that better than anyone. I'm not going to go apes*** everytime an article comes out that doesn't say what I want to hear, atleast not right now. Let's give the man a chance to atleast semi-fix this mess.

I can't take it anymore. Even my mother, who doesn't know baseball from tennis, has jumped on the Cubs Bnadwagon. We as Sox fans need to come together against this madness. In 2005, it was the Rally Crede, I forgot who came up with it, that lifted us. We need to come up with something to do the exact opposite for the Cubs. How about the Rally Bartman? Or maybe, atleast until they're hopefully eliminated, sport Bartman avatars? I will go with the latter for now.

Can you imagine the emotional high the Phillies are on right now? Trailing by 7 games just two weeks ago? They say teams with the most momentum do the most damage come October. The Phillies are going to be a tough out.

It's easy for people like greg to say "f*** the draft" when more than likely he has no idea who's gonna be in it in the first place, or who's good. greg, you know who Lebron James is, right? What if there was a HS or College kid projected to be as good at baseball as Lebron was projected to be in basketball. Would you rather see your team win meaningless games, or would you rather them lose so you could have a chance at a once in a generation talent?
