  1. If Marquette can somehow bring in 1 or 2 legitimate bigs, they're gonna be very nice. I knew their soft inside would be exposed by Alabama.
  2. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 05:35 PM) Twas Lofton My bad.
  3. Maybe Nevada wasn't as good as I thought. Where was the defense? I didn't get to see the game. But it looks like Montana did whatever they wanted on offense. Heck of a game by Marcelus Kemp, though.
  4. Winthrop had every chance in the world to win today. Horrible offensive execution and turnovers killed them in the last 4 minutes. Awesome shot by Watson. However, I think this game pretty much validates the fact that the Vols aren't as good as their seeding. I expect Wichita State to whoop them.
  5. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 02:13 AM) I agree. If the Sox always worried about what the player did last year or how much experience he had, then Jenks, Count, Vazquez, Politte, Cotts, and Garland would have never gotten a shot at proving themselves. If Logan can throw strikes, and keep batters off balance, he is going to get a shot. From all the reports, he has very good movement on all his pitches. So if he has good control, it looks like the Sox found another gem. I also think Lopez still has a shot. In 8 1/3IP, he has 10 Ks and only 1 BB. That is very promising. Besides one bad outing, he has looked pretty good. According to Joey Cora, that one outing wasn't even all that bad.
  6. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 01:24 AM) Can't you do something else instead? I guess that is kinda graphic. I'll think of something.
  7. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 12:01 AM) I know that. Duke will notbe in the final 4 If you guys beat Texas and Duke to get to the final 4, I'll shave my ass hairs. I'll even post a pic of my hairless booty.
  8. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 11:28 PM) Monmouth's going to win it all. You can't stop John Bunch. You can only hope to contain him.
  9. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 11:11 PM) That would be 3 of us. But if Iowa finds a way past Texas...Final 4 baby. Slow down there, Jason. Even if you beat Texas, you would more than likely have to beat Duke to get to Indy.
  10. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 11:24 PM) I'm no where near an Illini fan but I'll put myself on that list. There, I guaranteed Illinois will make the sweet 16. I'm glad you're so confident. I've got a bad feeling about Washington.
  11. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 11:12 PM) Only posted it because I want Illini fans to know I'm picking Washington. Plus they are acting as if its a guaranteed win. Who's they?
  12. Knicks beat the Hawks in double overtime.
  13. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 08:42 PM) Tim Thomas last night.....10-11 from the field, 23 points. Good thing we got rid of that locker room cancer, his shooting ability and height wouldn't have helped this team at all. He wouldn't have been doing that with us. We don't have a Steve Nash.
  14. QUOTE(rangercal @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 08:25 PM) sure do. Here's a good site to see who will be available. http://nbadraft.net/ That would be the best case scenario. I think everybody pretty much knows about Aldridge. But, man, if we could get Brewer, too? That would be an A+++ draft. Brewer is a defensive monster.
  15. This kid is definitely confident. Looks like Ozzie is impressed as well.
  16. Happy B-DAY to my 3rd favorite Sox player of all-time.
  17. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 08:23 PM) http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...ex.jsp?c_id=cws • Contreras after spring start: 350K • White Sox injury updates: 350K Herm Schneider gives a great explanation on Podsednik's, Contreras', and Hermanson's aches and pains. I feel A LOT better after listening to Herm break it down. I'm extremely relieved that it seems Hermanson's problem is simply pain and discomfort. There's nothing seriously wrong. I thought he might require some surgery.
  18. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 06:57 PM) Think Kelly Wunsch with better stuff. Same pitches, delivery, size (6-5) and purpose as a situational lefty. I think Ozzie is going to give the kid every chance to make the team over guys like Almanza and Lopez. If he makes the team, that would be amazing a guy who has never pitched above A ball makes the major league team. I guess I'll give the kid a chance. I'm not expecting much, though.
  19. Dude is a side-armer? I didn't even know that.
  20. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 06:51 PM) Check out Gene Honda Civic's (The Cheat) blog. Thanks
  21. Looks like another impressive performance by Logan. Can anybody break down his performance today?
  22. Somebody talk to me about Logan and Lopez. How did they look?
  23. Semi good news on Hermanson.
  24. I can't see the Red Sox or any other AL contender dealing with us. This team has one potential weakness at the moment. You best believe these teams know that.
  25. Good article. I'd be A LOT more worried about our current bullpen situation if we didn't have such a deep, dominant starting rotation.
