Lillibridge's outstanding plays are fresh in my mind, but I don't know if we'll ever see a play like Buehrle's between the legs ridiculousness.

Floyd was top notch tonight. Konerko was Konerko. And Lillibridge was unbelievable for two straight plays. These past two games have gotten me interested again!

Brent Lillibridge! After the first catch I saw "Wow!" After the second catch I said "Holy s***!" Unbelievable. Should be 2 web gems on Baseball Tonight.

Regardless of what pitches he threw when and to who, what impressed me was his confidence. He never seemed shaken or nervous. Even after losing the no hit bid he came back and continued to pitch well.

I turned the game on during the 5th inning and was surprised to see the Sox winning. I was damn near floored when I saw Humber had a no hitter going. I didn't think he would be able to get the no hitter (there's got to be a ton of pressure in Yankee Stadium). But I was extremely impressed with his performance. It was nice to hear the announcers actually acknowledge how well he was pitching, although they were praising Burnett even more. Santos looked good. I think he needs to be the closer. Remember last year that his pitching faltered a bit towards the end. I wonder if that was a result of a lot of innings. Maybe being in the closer role would cut down on his innings and allow him to remain sharp all year.

It's way too early to throw in the towel, but it is quite depressing right now. I could barely watch last night's game. As a matter of fact, I think I only watched about three innings. The offense is non-existent, the starting pitching is spotty at best, and the bullpen is a crapshoot. I'm sure it'll turn around, but will they be good enough to win the division? The news about Peavy is very disappointing, but the team hasn't has Peavy since July. Humber has done an okay job, and hopefully he can keep doing so. I would not be surprised if Peavy doesn't return before June. And when he does, I'm beginning to doubt he'll be the pitcher he once was. I'm not worried about Dunn. He'll come around and end up with numbers around his career average. I'm concerned about the chemistry. It seems like the team can't all play well together. If the offense is good, the pitching and defense is bad. If the starting pitching is on, the bullpen blows it. If the offense and pitching are winning the game, the defense is dropping balls. The only time they play the same is when they all play poorly.

Possibly worst...thread...ever For that matter, Thornton is garbage, Sale is a waste of a jersey (extra-slim), and Morel should be waived. Dunn will be fine. And by fine, he'll hit around .240 with upwards of 40 HRs.
