Caught the premiere of The Killing last night. In my opinion, it was one of the best starts to a new show in a long time. I hope it stays this good.

If the Sox get ... Then they will ...
If the Sox get 90+ HRs from Rios, Dunn, and Konerko they will win the division.

2011 TV Thread
Fringe has been renewed for next season. Fox did their best to kill it by moving it to Fridays, but thank god it had enough of a following to survive. I think this season has been the best so far...looking forward to next season now.

Things that need to come back...
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Mar 22, 2011 -> 03:05 PM) Refresh my memory, I remember the name, but not the details. It was marketed as a burger for grown ups. I think it was 1/3 pound with bacon, some spicy sauce, and served on a thick bun.

I agree that one month a year of the McRib is enough. What I'd like to see back is the Arch Deluxe. That was a good burger.

Trying to find a cell phone plan
QUOTE (Y2HH @ Mar 11, 2011 -> 07:50 AM) Sounds like you are overpaying for a phone that holds rollover minutes...how much do you actually talk on the phone that you need unlimited everything? Another scam are these tiered data plans -- MOST people spend 90-95% of their time on WiFi, using no OTA data...yet spend 30$ a month for an unlimited plan they will never use. I dropped my data plan to 2gigs, and I'm further considering dropping to to 200 megs...my average monthly data use is about 150mb, considering I'm almost always on WiFi no matter where I go. I have 2 iPhones and 1 regular phone on my AT&T plan, unlimited mobile to mobile, unlimited txt, 2 gigs of data on each iPhone -- 550 anytime minutes, nights/weekends free, and I have about 2500 rollover minutes as of now. I pay 150$ for all 3. I have almost the exact same plan. I don't use the phone for calls very often, but I use the web a lot and text a fair amount. I sometimes cringe when paying the bill, but looking at the other plans out there (considering two smart phones and a regular phone), I think it's a decent deal.

I watched this week's Shameless last night. Probably the best one of the season, IMO, and that is saying a lot. And now there's only 3 episodes left this season. What are we going to do without being able to see Emmy Rossum every week?

Wisconsin Dells
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Mar 8, 2011 -> 02:05 PM) You HAVE to go to Noah's Ark if you're in the dells. When I was your kids age, that was pretty much my favorite place in the world, they'll have a blast. The hotel waterparks are certainly nice but they don't compare to Noah's Ark. I've heard that from several people, and I definitely plan on spending a day there.

Trying to find a cell phone plan
I think Cricket has a decent plan for about $60 a month with unlimited texts and web. I'm not sure about call minutes.

Wisconsin Dells
Thanks for the feedback. I'm torn between staying at one of the big waterparks and staying at a hotel that offers discounted or free tickets to Noah's Ark or Chula Vista or Mt Olympus. I could save money by staying at a basic hotel, but then I lose the convienence of being able to just run down to the waterpark for an hour or so at night. Has anyone stayed at any of the big waterparks? How was the cleanliness?

Wisconsin Dells
We're thinking of a family vacation in the Dells this summer. I've never been there, and I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for the better places to stay up there. Looking for a water park resort that would be good for a family with 3 kids between ages 6 and 9. Thanks!

Everyone loves it but me
QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Mar 1, 2011 -> 03:14 PM) I'll agree on onions, you can add mushrooms as well to my list. I agree there. Most of my family likes mushrooms, so when we order pizza we'll get 1/2 without mushrooms for me. Then everyone eats that pizza first before eating the one with mushrooms. Pisses me off.

Mark Buehrle
If you look at his skill set, he's not worth $14 million a year. But if you take into account everything he means to the White Sox, I have no problem with him getting that type of money now. If he extends for a couple/few years, I could see $8 to $10 million per...and I'd be fine with that.

Things sure change in one year...
Last year we were all quite worried about the DH situation. Turned out we had a reason to be. This year...not so worried.
