Did anyone catch baseball tonight last night??
Of that group: Best 3 starters: Yankees Best line-up: Yankees Best 8th inning guy: Yankees Best closer: Yankees Best defense: Yankees (all four have s***ty defensive outfields) 200 million dollar payroll? But I don't care much for money, because money can't buy me love.

Carlos Beltran revisited
Bagwell and Biggio are no longer all star caliber players, but they're still good. Bagwell has an 850 OPS and Biggio has an 825 OPS. Berkman is amazing.

Carlos Beltran revisited
The Astros have three aces in their staff. And Wade Miller ain't too shabby. Did you just say that they have a s***ty offense? Berkman, Beltran, Bagwell, Biggio, etc? The Killer B's? In my best Chris Rock voice: You must be out yo god damn mind, cracka ass cracka!

Carlos Beltran revisited
Right now, on June 30th? I beg to differ. Watch them get really hot in about a week or two. It will be a tight three team race between the Astros, Cubs, and Cardinals. You can forget about the Reds. They don't have enough pitching. s***, they haven't had pitching depth in quite some time now. You'd have to go all the way back to the early nineties.

A Made Up Stat
It's hard to post a good ERA when you have to make half of your starts in the American League's version of Coors Field. I know that chicks dig the long ball or whatever, but come on. This is ridiculous. Move the fences back.....way back.

Koch's FLA debut
Marlins GM: You might have won a ring, but you also traded for botch. And now you have to live with the crap.

The Continuing Decline & Fall of Mark Buehrle
His ERA was 3.65 on June 13. Actually, he was at 3.30 at the beginning of the month. By the end of the season, I think he'll be between 3.50 and 3.75. That'll be good enough for Top 10 in the AL. And after only winning 1 game in April, he still has a shot at 20 victories, what with 90 games left on the season.

The Continuing Decline & Fall of Mark Buehrle
ooooooohhhhh yeeeeaaaahhhhh!!!!!!! Buehrle is now 6-0 with a 1.75 ERA in his last 6 starts against the Twins! He has a 13-4 lifetime record against them. He is now 61-37 in his career, and he's only 25!

Sox vs Twins June 29th, 2004
Buehrle with 2 earned runs in 7 IP 12-4 life-time against the Twins, and 5-0 in his last 5 starts against them with a 1.70 ERA? Absolutely beautiful.

LA Times now Reporting
But he's still right around .300 through 72 games. He wasn't going to continue hitting at a .325 clip thoughout the season. Plus, he's been playing some mean defense. There's no reason to s*** on him (Allsox, I'm looking in your direction).

You only watch the baseball part? Because that movie is a classic from start to finish.- Best sports movie scenes.
They talked about this on the Steve Rosenbloom show 2 weeks ago. Steve said that the "wanna have a catch" scene was the best sports scene....ever. And many callers agreed.... For those that don't know, Steve Rosenbloom is the man. He is on every Saturday morning from 8 until 12.- Best sports movie scenes.
Yeah, I agree. I can't stand Notre Dame, but I love "Rudy". I remember seeing it at the theater. I had tears in my eyes when they carried him off of the field.- Brandon Inge
A lot of people on here have been mentioning him. It's a good idea.- Our Roster
This guy doesn't look anything like him.- LA Times now Reporting
Yeah, that's what people were saying on May 1st. Damn pessimists.- Maggs to Padres?
Trading Peavy and Hoffman.....that's not what a potential division winner is looking to do.- SOXTALK Trade Talk
I talked so much s*** about Freddy Garcia last month. I'm sure you remember our conversation about him being a "lazy, cocaine dabbling asshole". But now that he's on the Sox, all the negatives are GAWN. Forgotten. Adios. Fredro has a clean slate. But it pisses me off when people suggest that he can be had for between 7 and 10 million a year, when, in reality, it's more like a minimum of 12 million per year. Is this guy worth 12 million? I think that I'd rather have Mulder for that amount, which is what he'll get.- Our Roster
Yeah, it's horrible. But then again, no more Mondays without baseball! - Best sports movie scenes.
