  1. Yes he can. He pitches like a pussy. Plain and simple. It's not his stuff. It is his head.
  2. I'm planning to kick off a Flash Presentation of White Sox history, and have a pretty good start with articles on Sholess Joe Jackson and Luis Aparacio already. However, I'd like the history page to be spectacular. So I was hoping to get ideas of what to put on the history page. There will obviously be the division championship years, world series years, and etc. There will be historical pages on hall of famers, and then a Comiskey Park history section. Other than that, idea's would be much apreciated. Also, if you have pictures, or anything cool, it'd be great if you can be send to wsc@whitesoxcentral.com. And if there is anybody willing to write stuff up for the history section, let me know. Thanks a lot!
  3. Is there anything this team doesn't need? Jesus Christ, the offense struggles for a week and we have people rolling heads.
  4. Then resign Maggs. That's all there is to it.
  5. There is about to be a section on WSC to submit a question.
  6. I'll be holding you to that.
  7. I think it's time to accept this is the type of ball player Carlos is. He's going to take his hacks and we have to live with it. As far as the situation, Carlos had better of been hacking away first pitch. K-Rod didn't want to get behind a home run threat, and since he wasn't getting his curve ball over, he's obviously going to throw a fastball. Bravo to Carlos for sitting on it and lacing it. No need to bash Carlos in this instance.

    He certainly has better stuff.
  9. Closers are overrated, so is Gange's streak.
  10. Wait, wait. Garcia is resigned? Or that is the deal offered?
  11. On another note, it's time to get rid of interleague play...with the exception of rivalries.
  12. Why the heck did you write that in poetry form? Cool it, you know nothing about these players emotions. NOTHING. Unless you are one in the locker room. Are you? No? Than keep it to things you can prove. One series isn't the end of the world. Guillen made some poor choices, and we didn't get the clutch hits we needed. Not a huge deal. We are still at the top of the AL in come from behind wins. They don't have passion? Come on.
  13. I disagree. It's just that Guillen needs to learn he's not as good past 1 inning.
  14. BobDylan replied to BrandoFan's topic in Pale Hose Talk
The fact is that he pitches like a pussy. It takes him 4 innings to realize that he needs to throw the ball inside.
  15. I've said it and I'll say it again. Ozzie Guillen is a poor manager, but gets the guys up and ready to play. However, he uses the pitching staff poorly, doesn't use the bench properly, and can't make a decision. Going by the numbers works more than your 'gut'...especially when one has 0 years of experience. Guillen is fun, but if anything is going to stop the White Sox from winning this division or going deep into the playoffs, it's going to be his head. He's plumb dumb.
  16. In my opinion, Sox fans need to make a decision. Frank or PK. If we don't, they'll split the votes and neither will get in.
  17. Doesn't mean they have a good hitting team. Imagine the White Sox in there. I mean come on...
  18. http://www.whitesoxcentral.com/chat.html
  19. True, but Comiskey still is no Coors. We have great hitters, the Rockies don't.
  20. Throw minor league stats out the door, they don't matter. Miles may not be slow, but Harris' speed might make or break some games. Miles speed won't. Harris can play 2 spots, like you said, which is quite valuable. ...Especially with three middle infielders that are good enough to start on a quality big league team. Switch hitters are over rated, IMO. ...That is of course, unless you are Carlos Beltran. Harris is actually a career .237 hitter at the big league level where as Miles is .325. However, Harris has quite a few more at bats, and hits in a park that doesn't give you an extra 7% on the ball. I'm not sure .368 over .338 is a slight edge. That seems like a lot in terms of on base percentage. Harris has gold glove potential. Notice I said potential. He may never reach that potential, but he is still pretty good with the glove at 2B. And those are just my two cents. Not an argument, just food for thought.
  21. Wah, wah, wah. The Cubs aren't bad, they are a playoff contender. Now quit your b****ing, this team is in primo shape.
