  1. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 19, 2010 -> 05:51 PM) You know what Rex? I think you'd really enjoy going to Xoco, it's one of Rick Bayless' restaurants, it's reasonably priced and everyone I know loves it. It probably would be a cool addition to your trip to go to one of Chicagos most renowned chef's restaurants. ill also vouch for Xoco
  2. I like the name Carl. so powerful and majestic
  3. QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Jun 19, 2010 -> 03:59 PM) I'll be there for the 3rd and 4th as well. We hotwired a hotel and ended up getting Club Quarters. I also booked reservations at Flatwater, it looks pretty cool so I gave it a shot. Anyone had any previous experiences there? Any suggestions for a "romantic" type dinner on the 3rd? The new iron chef has a restaurant on Michigan Ave between Harrison and Balbo. Its a pretty spectacular Tapas place and every date ive taken there loved it especially for the wine selection and Sangria and also the whole "Its an Iron Chef's restaurant" appeal. The dishes themselves are great from top to bottom and every time Ive gone there, Iron Chef Garces actually will go to your table and greet you which was a nice little gesture. Btw the place is called Mercat a La Planxa.
  4. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 01:16 PM) I know his Mom died, and that explains a lot of the weird stuff he did. It's certainly understandable he wasn't all there after his Mom died (most of us would be devastated by that), but don't make an absolute pile of slop of an album because of it, just take a break. i didnt think it was THAT bad. i liked several tracks on it.. like any hip hop album youll have maybe 4 or 5 good tracks and the rest are unnecessary intro's or just plain junk.
  5. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 01:06 PM) Yeah, he was good pre 808s. Not sure what happened on that album. His mom died
  6. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 11:24 AM) When you suck his dick, it feels like he's sucking your dick. :lolhitting :lolhitting :lolhitting

  8. QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 15, 2010 -> 10:55 PM) I cant smell mine, I have to wear a special suit and focus all of my attention on putting the game into my XBOX as slowly and carefully as I can so it doesn't explode.. you should probably send that in for repair
  9. QUOTE (kev211 @ Jun 15, 2010 -> 10:25 PM) Random but it belongs here does anyone else absolutely love the smell of a new video game? LOL thats like the first thing i do when i get a game, tear that pesky plastic off and sniff that instruction manual
  10. QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Jun 15, 2010 -> 08:41 PM) To REALLY mess with people, "press the octothorpe for English". To REALLY REALLY mess with people, "Hello?" (Person starts talking as if youve answered).. Seconds later... BEEEPPP!
  11. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jun 15, 2010 -> 06:55 PM) I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to move ANY console when a game's running.... looks like we have a winnar! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIZX8J3epxA...=watch_response
  12. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 12:47 PM) I wasn't aware those things were still going on. My Humanities teacher is so far left that shes fallen off of the flat side of the earth. Its pretty funny these ideas she comes up with, its like her own Al Gore fantasyland that she lives inside her head.
  13. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jun 14, 2010 -> 10:58 PM) It doesn't? I know I can do it using my iPod. nope it doesnt work with the iphone, i wish it did. is your ipod an ipod touch?
  14. dont know if this has been posted yet but its definitely cool.. the "new" xbox 360 http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/109/1097102p1.html
  15. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 14, 2010 -> 08:13 PM) Denial is funny. im a ps3 and xbox360 user.. Im not in the fanboy section of either system.. The only thing that makes me buy a copy of a game for a certain console is ONLY if it has exclusive content to that particular system. One thing i love about my xbox though is the ability to play my music during ANY game. That could be a total dealbreaker for me on some titles where id like to listen to something other than the original soundtrack. When it comes to gaming though i never noticed a difference honestly. Even online while i pay for xbox live and use the playstation network i dont notice a difference at all as long as the host isnt hosting from all the way in the middle east or something. I love that the ps3 has bluray integrated which is great because they hold so much more data and while its a TINY nuisance, the fact that xbox still uses dvds can be a pain for much larger games like mass effect which require more than one disc, but at the same time its not a huge deal that i would throw my arms up about. P.S. If the 360 gained support for the use of iphones as a usb-readable media player where i could just select the songs off of my iphone through the dashboard menu, that would be absolutely HUGE for me
  16. This pay per view really has made me a big Pat Barry fan. What a fun guy to watch and what a class act!
  17. According to the fans partying at clark street for the hawks win, the sox dont count as a championship due to their stadium being in west gary indiana..
  18. Non-Voters are personally responsible for the slavery and lynchings in the south.. My college professor says so..
  19. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 10, 2010 -> 02:06 AM) hey, bottom lounge was the s***. my friend just got arrested on clark. you will always lose in a battle of dumb drunk whores who are drunk and dumb and f***in dumb as f***. That last goal i was standing up celebrating as the rest of bottom lounge was just like "what the f***" I felt so vindicated. clark was awesome, i think even the fattest hawks fan had a chance to bring home a classy lady from the bar on a night like this
  20. clark street was NUTS!!! holy crap you would of thought the cubs won the world series (i guess this is as close they can get to a championship)... oh man one dude was trying to argue that the hawks are the last chicago team to win a championship since the 98 bulls.. he said the white sox arent from chicago, they are a West Gary Indiana Club. Clark street, i tell ya...
  21. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 9, 2010 -> 03:47 PM) Besides, would you want to walk around on patrol around El Paso in the summer wearing full tactical gear? Half of them would die of heat exhaustion. The ballistic vests they are probably wearing are bad enough. i cant imagine its much different from wearing full tactical gear, full combat load, and any other random crap someone makes you carry on patrol in Iraq. If a guy from Chicago can get his body trained to get used to it in 120+ degree weather, im sure border patrol officers can too. Im just sayin... Its not IMPOSSIBLE, thats all..
  22. QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 9, 2010 -> 12:28 PM) haha, well down here it is never snowy and sleety outside.. in fact, its almost always perfect driving conditions year round.. ohhhh yeaaa i forgot youre a traitor to the motherland!
  23. QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 9, 2010 -> 03:31 AM) I don't know how insurance works I know I need full coverage because I am financing, but I want it to be as bare minimum as it gets.. Unless you are a terrible driver, car insurance is the biggest scam ever.. I don't see why I need to pay $2,000+ a year for something im not going to need.. its been almost 10 years since I had an accident/ticket, and that was literally one month after I got my license when I was 16.. Thats like $20,000-30,000 dollars spent on insurance when I have ever only needed a fraction of that money.. i used to think the same way when believe it or not someone caused an accident with me on purpose.. long story short, its snowy and sleety outside, guy cuts me off a split second before the light even turns green, then a couple blocks down SLAMS on the breaks and there was nothing i could do to avoid the contact, though the contact was so small. i got a ticket and a couple months later the guy tries suing me for 10k over medical bills. thank god allstate had my back!!
  24. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jun 8, 2010 -> 11:28 PM) Im actually looking at quotes now. Allstate with bare min coverage= $1032 for 6 mths State Farm with bare min coverage= $450 for 6 mths Liberty Mutual with max coverage= $812 for 12 mths oh my god thats horrible! thank my lucky stars for USAA. ill never complain about them again!
