  1. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 8, 2011 -> 11:55 AM) Absolutely, it was literally pissing me off to see how f***in stupid Miami was being. And I'm not going to lie, I literally stood up and cheered when Rondo went down, I really couldn't care less if that makes me a bad person or a bad sports fan or whatever, f*** that asshole. Yeahhhh, if your that sucked into it that you cheer when someone has an injury that looked so terrible you prob. need to reassess somethings in your life. I wouldn't shed any tears, but even Vick who actually did disgusting things off the field I'm not going to cheer if he gets hurt. With how Rondo has been playing as of late I think Celtics are almost better giving West the minutes anyhow.
  2. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 7, 2011 -> 09:42 PM) I thought they'd bring it up a notch now that the postseason is here. They could have put this series to bed with a win tonight. I expected maximum effort. Instead, it almost seems like they're trying to play rope-a-dope today. Just hoping celtics can win game 4 and take all the momentum back in the series.
  3. QUOTE (JPN366 @ May 7, 2011 -> 12:32 AM) Huh? Why would Escobar need to move to second base to make room for Beckham? He suggesting sending Beckham down to minors and Escobar in majors at 2B.
  4. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 6, 2011 -> 02:38 PM) I hadn't heard that last part. Hilarious. Supposedly it happened a ton of times
  5. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 3, 2011 -> 05:33 PM) Was actually going to ask in this thread if South Park last week was any good or not. I somehow forgot about it and have been waiting for it to show up OnDemand, no such luck yet. If you hate apple and remember the previews for the human centipede you will like it
  6. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 1, 2011 -> 06:31 PM) If the bulls win this series, the key is going to be that Thib is will let Korver play more. Because the Bulls need his offense, he may not be the best defender, but Thib needs to figure out a way to work around that because he is by far the Bulls best shooter. He also helps the Bulls space the floor, which should give Rose better lanes. That being said, if Bogans is able to hit the open 3... his defense on Wade would be irreplaceable. I didn't notice it till the Pacers series but his defense is pretty sick.
  7. Lakers in 7 Celtics in 7 Thunder in 5 Bulls in 5
  8. I dont think Conte will be anything more than a special teams player, but we'll see... hopefully Wright starts all season.
  9. Obviosly anything can happen but I think the bulls matchup great with the hawks and could be a much easier series than the pacers were
  10. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 23, 2011 -> 08:34 PM) I think a lot of schools would steer clear of someone who spent 3 years in jail. As someone who has done an internship in a prison this semester, a lot of guys there are decent people and I think deserve a 2nd chance.
  11. I think the last 2 fouls against Boozer were pretty bogus..... but Bulls playing like s*** right now hopefully come out in 2nd half with a better plan.
  12. QUOTE (Felix @ Apr 22, 2011 -> 09:54 PM) I just saw the highlights, but it didn't look like he was really too involved. I mean, he was pissed when he was first fouled, but everyone is when they first get fouled. When the s*** actually started to fly, it looked like he was actually keeping his cool and trying to get Richardson away. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong as I only saw the highlight and didn't see it realtime. He practically punched Pachulia(sp?) and would of got away with it if all the drama didn't go down.
  13. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 22, 2011 -> 05:12 PM) I think there might be something off with Boozer... earlier in the season (and especially during Noah's injury) he was scoring at a fine pace. He seems almost useless lately. Doesnt he have a history of being mediocre for Utah in the playoffs too? I could be making that up but thought it was always a knock against him.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 18, 2011 -> 02:16 PM) That waiver would just hurt ticket sale revenue though. Only 8 home games a season in NFL, especially if they schedule around the Bears for a couple seasons I see no reason why another football team wouldn't sell out in Chicago land area
  15. I think a NBA/NFL team can be successful here. A lot of people like to jump on the bandwagon, look how popular the blackhawks became over a couple years time.
  16. I guess typical playoff Boozer was bound to show up... hopefully they let this game sting and come back and blow out the Pacers game 2. Not that this one is over yet.
  17. We cant hit a 3 pointer and they cant miss seemingly. Even if the Bulls don't come back to win this one not going to worry too much about it, regardless of defense the Pacers wont shoot this well again and could be a wakeup call for the Bulls to realize regular season is over.
  18. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 09:44 PM) I'm guessing it's just due to how Allen has fit in since he came to ISU. And I don't know how long this transfer trend will continue. But this team is well positioned the next two years. And Hoiberg has more capital in Ames than nearly any coach anywhere, so he'll get time. I have no problem with what their doing, it's college kids deserve a 2nd chance. As long as it's only a 2nd chance and the kids know any further screw ups wont be tolerated.
  19. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 09:26 PM) Manu Ginobili of the "I'm chronically injured" Ginobilis? He has played over 70 games 4 of the past 5 seasons.... I don't think missing a handful a season labels you as chronically injured.
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 07:46 PM) You CANNOT tell me that Chris Paul this season was the player he was in 2007-2008 and expect me to believe it. The only real difference is he doesnt shoot as much now. The team around him just isn't very good and I don't think West will be too successful either when he leaves this off-season unless paired with another elite PG.
  21. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Apr 10, 2011 -> 12:51 PM) He also finished Serra and BJ since then. I thought his humiliation of Koscheck was quite entertaining as well. Didnt BJ's corner throw in the towel after the 4th round, I think he meant as in finish some via knockout/submission.
  22. His legs werent really close to the base at all, but I wouldn't really go to the point saying it was dirty.
  23. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 12:45 PM) The C's had a chance at chasing down the Bulls for the top seed. As far as I am concerned, that is about as good of a test as anything. Plus there hasn't been anything in their other match ups that screams Eastern Conference Champs at me. Difference is they could of beat the Bulls and still not get the 1 seed, the Heat/Celtics matchup should almost be a sure fire thing on who gets the 2nd seed.
  24. The one incident with the father/son, the father just got out of prison today or tomorrow I cant remember... I work at the prison he is at...overall not a bad inmate
  25. I wonder if the Bulls take a flyer on him at end of first round, he wont contribute next season but you don't get that kind of talent late in the draft that often. Unless some SG prospect that makes for a solid bench guy falls to them I see no reason not to draft Richmond and just send him to the D-League for a season.
