    QUOTE(longshot7 @ Nov 6, 2007 -> 02:51 PM) I've heard bad things about it, but I'll see anything the Coens do, so we'll see..... On another note, how about House of 1000 Muppets: Nine out of every ten reviews for it have been positive, damn positive
  3. QUOTE(Shadows @ Nov 6, 2007 -> 01:55 PM) Yes, I don't know how many times I have to say this.. we can play basketball And yes, they are inferior because they are women.. hence why I KNOW that we could beat them Special ed kids can play basketball too... doesn't mean they are any good though does it? Your skill level is very, very likely not close to anyone on wnba championship team. Any random five guys that think they could beat some of the best women in the world are delirious. They are too disciplined first off. You would not be able to get into their heads... as they would think of your challenge as a joke in the first place. So throw that out the window. Height/strength? Not a big problem as their is always a way to contain someone... as you see i did not say stop someone. Speed/quickness? Them. Shot making? Them. Passing? Them? IQ and playing the game for at least the last 8-10 years of their lives every day? Them... and that is what i call experience. Experience is invaluable. Remember that you will not just be able to throw them around like rag dolls and do what you wish with them. You and your team would send them to the line countless times... just a given. All of your shots would be contested and your passes even more so. Hell i doubt you guys get the ball up court half the time with a full court press on. Just not that simple You would have more turnovers and missed shots than they would have points probally... so you have something going anyway. No cracks at you intended... just a highly improbable outcome you suggested.
  4. When you constantly hear how underrated a player is for years ( garret anderson is always a good example) it makes them damn overrated.
  5. I have not followed sports in about a year and even i know jack wilson = t3h SuX0Rs!!!
  6. QUOTE(BearSox @ Nov 4, 2007 -> 05:34 PM) I hear Jessica Alba is going to be naked in he newest movie that is coming out soon (forgot the name of it)... I've been waiting for this moment for the longest time. Now Scarlet Johanson has to follow as well as Eva Longoria. She is not gonna be naked any time soon...

  8. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Sep 25, 2007 -> 12:03 AM) Or how drunk you are Ding ding ding...
  9. QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 24, 2007 -> 09:41 PM) So no high drivers killing themselves or others? I have a hard time believing that. No one getting high and drowning? Falling? etc. I have a hard time believing that. Getting high and drowning... falling? What the hell is that about? You do not lose your motor skills nearly to that extent. Pot is not some sort of out of body experience. People do not just get high... go on a cruise and run into a pole or drive off a cliff. Unrealistic.
  10. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Sep 24, 2007 -> 01:26 PM) Well there were more deaths last year attributed to Tylenol than Marijuana. I would say that makes it fairly harmless. Zero deaths with marijuana... not a damn one.
  11. Been meaning to ask for a long ass time... any one down for some sort of pool tournament?
  12. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 10, 2007 -> 01:00 AM) Do you think he's the reason why the Sox didn't repeat last season? Well clearly... i am guessing the sox would be leading the division with him this year too.
  13. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jul 10, 2007 -> 12:20 AM) One of the most overrated players in Chicago history IMHO. He is not overrated as much as people do not realize his limitations. When rowand fails to reach the unrealistic goals set for him i can't bash the guy. Always has done his job on defense... only knock i have ever had on him defensively is how he charges a ball and how inaccurate he has been with his throws in the past. Offensively he is really nothing more than league average.. one positive is he is only four walks away from his career high in 70 less games. He is the best centerfielder the sox have had in a long time. End of story.
  14. People are gonna flock from all across the world just to take my indentity.
  15. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 8, 2007 -> 04:48 PM) Jermaine is gone and should be. I'd rather pay Hunter a few mill a year more than Dye. Hunter is older but he does a lot more right and that is coming from someone that still likes Dye (Dye will be fine for the next couple years, he just needs to get healthy and I expect him to have a pretty big 2nd half). Dye is actually a year and a half older than hunter. Hunter's birthday is coming up july 18th, 2007. QUOTE(BearSox @ Jul 8, 2007 -> 04:56 PM) Why not give Anderson another shot for the rest of this season and maybe he could turn into Torrie Hunter Lite & White? If blows again, then go after someone like Hunter in free agency. Was just answered for you...
  16. QUOTE(Bonderman38 @ Jul 2, 2007 -> 06:02 PM) Granderson should be an all-star, hands down. He's also doing something like only like 5 or 6 players in quite a while have done before the all star break. The "Triple-Double" as they call it, I guess. Double Digit Homers, Doubles, and Triples. He's fast, but not blazing Carl Crawford type fast. Just shows what hustling all the way can do for you. http://www.baseball-fever.com/showthread.php?p=931562
  17. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 4, 2007 -> 03:11 PM) Find a pitcher in the majors who you'd like with this strikezone, and I'll call you a liar if you name one. David wells... not lying.
  18. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 4, 2007 -> 03:05 PM) I totally disagree. But I think we'll get the chance to find out. Logan is vastly overated every where... only a small amount of people seem to realize his caliber of a pitcher/loogy comes dime a dozen.
  19. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 4, 2007 -> 03:00 PM) Remember, choosing Sisco over Logan is not going to effect the team. It's not that big of a deal. Oh wait, he's pitching like s*** in the 6th inning of close games. Fun. Chances logan would do any better over the course of this season is not too great in my opinion.
  20. Sisco... who has control issues is thrown into this game with the zone being this small why? Bad managing from how i see it. Can be an easy and likely way kill his confidence this early into the season.
  21. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Mar 20, 2007 -> 10:04 PM) Unless I am reading it wrong, Danks would not be considered a "hard thrower" Not what i meant exactly. He pounds batters inside so much..movement can be so good at times that it looks faster than it is in reality. I mean he can hit 94 and has hit 94 on radar... willing to bet it is faster than the average left hander tops out at.
  22. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Mar 20, 2007 -> 12:21 AM) Jenks Thornton MacDougal Sisco Aardsma Floyd Just to aggravate the hell out of Soxtalk. This is exactly what i thought when all of the trades were completed. Still is the best option in my opinion... even with aardsma doing as bad as he has done this spring, he will be a big factor in the season. Sisco> logan in nearly every aspect. Haeger? Haeger will not last half of the 2007 season on big league roster (in the pen). Jenks is still not what i consider a closer when i think of one. I have always been able to see his shakiness... and one day when he implodes... it may be fatal. Thorton and macdougal i like alot in their roles... just wish the back end of the bullpen was fixed up better in the off-season. Floyd i just figured would would be in the pen because i figured the sox would want another hard thrower in the rotation (danks). The one word to describe the white sox bullpen in my opinion is ''worrisome''.
