  1. lol I am 837 years old you know
  2. Yoda knows what he’s saying I meditated before Tuesday night’s game and had a feeling that the Sox will get a sweep. And so they did
  3. LMAO The only man getting runs for the Astros is Beltran :headshake
  4. This 5 game win streak is the longest for the Sox this year. Keep it going
  5. Good job Garland. Glad to see you picked up your 6th victory of the year. And you really did deserve it
  6. That’s right Chip. The Sox are “Red-Hot” and they are ready to kick some ass in the North Side of Chicago.
  7. Schoeneweis deserves to be in the starting rotation. I believe everything went downhill because it had to do something with his arm. Hopefully when he comes back, he starts getting some wins. Now I understand he rarely has any run support, but he’s not going to get it if he gives up 4 runs in the first two innings. Why give him run support if he’s going to give it back?
  8. Go Sox! Continue your winning streak :fthecubs
  9. Good luck in the finals. BTW, Yoda thinks this site kicks ass! EzBoard = :puke
  10. Anyone heard anything new on Maggs? If he is to return soon, do you think he'll be able to play in the series opener against the Angels at home? Or the series opener against Seattle (7/9)? The Sox have been playing well as of late. Our offense has been great. But with Maggs present, we'll look undefeatable
  11. Correct. And If I’m not mistaking, that’s been the only team we have swept this year. I just want to see our winning streak getting longer and not have to start all over. I’m all for W #5 Let’s start July with a W.

9 punch-outs are a lot if you ask me. A season high (tied with Loaiza) in his first appearance with the Sox was big. I hope Esteban can get his strikeout count going up because he really hasn’t had that many K’s. You look at last year and he was making batters look stupid. I say Garcia looks like the Esteban of last year. We all know that White Sox pitchers aren’t strikeout pitchers, but with Garcia around, he’ll put the Sox in a positive side. Garcia: 91 k Buehrle: 88 k Loaiza: 65 k Schoeneweis: 54 k Garland: 51 k
  13. The Sox are sending the right guy in the mound (in my opinion). Garland has done such a good job in the first 3 or 4 innings. After that, he collapses in where Judy comes out of nowhere. I hope Garland does ask for advice from both Garcia and Buehrle about their appearances against the Twins because today is a big game. Why do I say that? Because when was the last time we swept a team? Pitching matchup MIN: LHP Johan Santana 6-4, 4.38 ERA in 2004 0-1, 21.00 vs. CWS in 2004 1-3, 7.94 lifetime vs. CWS CWS: RHP Jon Garland 5-5, 4.84 ERA in 2004 1-0, 7.71 vs. MIN in 2004 3-4, 4.30 lifetime vs. MIN
  14. Did I see Maddux in there?

This is how I want to see it: SP: Diaz (pitches 6+ innings, if 3 runs or less) BP: Rauch (Pitches 2 innings) CP: Shingo (If a close game, get Mr. Zero out there)
  16. Cleveland and Detroit are not an easy team to beat. Both of them are threats and can easily send us to second or third place, that is if they are still close to first place like right now.
  17. Same with me. I can’t say I was pissed at Ozzie, but your closer is suppose to enter the game when it’s a close one. Shingo entered the game knowing that he had a 4 run lead. If you ask me, that’s no save situation. But once that HR left the field, Takatsu knew it was a save situation and didn’t fail.
  18. July 2 Esteban Loaiza (8-3) 4.28 ERA Carlos Zambrano (8-3) 2.56 ERA July 3 Felix Diaz (1-1) 8.59 ERA Greg Maddux (6-6) 4.49 ERA July 4 Mark Buehrle (8-2) 4.33 ERA Glendon Rusch (4-1) 4.33 ERA
  19. Jeckle doesn’t deserve that signature, now does he? Nice job Goldmember.
  20. Or tell them to use a balloon or something

    Long live Shingo's frisbee!!!
  22. Very nice performance by Mark Buehrle. Keep it up and he may have himself more than 16 Wins this year.
  23. That guy is f***ing sick :puke
  24. I was thinking about starting Rauch on Saturday and if he has any problems after the sixth inning, than Diaz can come in. Since the Cubs don’t know Rauch, he should have been (in my opinion) the SP. Still, best of luck to Diaz.
