It was a big stretch in the off-season to say that Big Frank would hit 30 HR's for this year. Look at him now. I would say that getting 30 HR's out of your DH is something, especially when it comes from a player that hasn't done that in a while because of health issues.

If it weren't for Soxtalk than I wouldn't have known that Reynolds was gone. I only watch BBTN when the Sox win; so chances of me noticing his absence now a days would have been very slim.

Already went to Ft. Worth Texas. Might go to Northern Wisconsin in mid-August but other than that it's work.

Anyone remember Curt Schilling?

I was looking forward to see how he'd back up last season's incredible performance. He wins the batting title and signs a good contract in the off-season and look what happens . . . Hope he recovers and is back to 100%.

I remember Freddy's first start in a Sox uni. He struck out about 10 Twins batters. Later in his 1st home start he struck out the first 4 Angel hitters. He had that great hard fastball and a unhittable changeup. Things have changed drastically. He was good last season but that is not the case for this year. If we can get something of value in return for him, than I'm all for it . . . and you're hearing that from probably the biggest Garcia fan in this board.

This might have been posted already, but it seems that when we're about to sweep the Cubs, our bullpen always gives up the lead and we have to put the brooms away. Hopefully Buehrle and the Sox offense can change that this afternoon.
