Awesome. Even the Cavs are making fun of him for his mom getting f***ed. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 02:16 AM) Um, this is freaking awesome http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/

Ridiculous. They're still maybe not better than the Lakers. QUOTE (zenryan @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 02:02 AM) I might need to take a break from the internet for the weekend. Since I'm a Hurricanes fan, I go to a Miami forum daily and some are going nuts. Already talking about breaking the 72-10 record.

Bosh is much better friends with Wade than he is with LeBron. that much is clear. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:26 PM) My one question is why would Bosh commit to Wade and Miami this early unless LeBron has told him he is staying in Cleveland?

I have. He's not close to being Deron Williams. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:03 PM) Have you heard of D Rose at all?

2 things: 1. LeBron isn't going to hold a primetime presser and spit in the face of Cleveland like that. I doubt he's even that big of a dick. 2. I can't see him going back unless he knows he can win. Maybe there's something more to this...? And I mean in the ways of Cleveland. But question, isn't that the day the Hinirch move is official? QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:20 AM) Like I said, I would be content if he chose Cleveland. But this is just beyond ridiculous and pretty f***ing tacky. I'd rather Kobe and the Lakers win the next 5 titles than this clown sniff one.

Where'd ya see that?

NBA Offseason Thread
I talked to 3 people over the weekend who know Wade and all of them said the interest is very much genuine. Obviously far from a shocker, but it was nice to hear. One said the Bulls were at the top of the list.

Road book>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>movie And I did not even like the book too much since, as previously mentioned, it never really went anywhere. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 02:29 PM) I've got the movie netflixed. I thought the book was solid, but it didn't really go anywhere. I'm hoping the movie will bring out a little more emotion.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 04:42 PM) Literally the worst keyboard ever put on a phone. I managed to get a store unit, so no.

The original Droid is still the best phone out there. A tactile keyboard trumps all.

The history of the Soxtalk Whipping Boy
El Duque obviously more than redeemed himself in the playoff but I seem to remember him being hated as a starter. Pretty sure you could hear a collective cringe from White Sox nation when Ozzie put him in against the Red Sox. It did not help he took the last playoff roster spot from (at the time) fan favorite Brandon McCarthy. Wilson Betemit was more of a personal choice. I don't know if I've ever seen a worse fielder.

The history of the Soxtalk Whipping Boy
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 04:37 PM) Someone should try to put a whipping boy team for Soxtalk... C- Toby Hall 1B- Mark Kotsay 2B- D'Angelo Jimenez SS- Orlando Cabrera (Not really sure here. Can't possibly hate Valentin or Graffanino, Alexei is boneheaded but likable. Others like Alex Cintron were too irrelevant.) 3B- Wilson Betemit OFs- Darin Erstad/Dewayne Wise/Nick Swisher/Rob Mackowiak/Timo Perez SP- Javier Vazquez SP- Danny Wright SP- Orlando Hernandez SP- Scott Schoeneweis SP- Batrolo Colon (mainly round 2 and his mysterious disappearances) Bullpen...Where to begin? Well, with Randy Williams obviously, but we have had some awful relievers over the years Randy Williams Cliff Politte Mike Jackson Rick White (not really a whipping boy, but man he was bad) Billy Koch Scott Linebrink Mike MacDougal Jose Panigua Jose Vizcaino (probably not as bad as the rest, but when your nick name is the "Jizz Can" you gonna have a spot here) Damaso Marte (another one who who wasn't terrible, but a whipping boy in 2005 he was)

Video Game Catch-All Thread
QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 20, 2010 -> 04:37 AM) Looked like it worked just fine when people where doing demos of it.. Because they weren't sitting down nor did they have a coffee table in front of them. It only supports up to to 2 players and you need a well-lit room to use it too. $150 for something that it a piece of junk that can't even handle Wii/Move ports because it does not have a controller. QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 20, 2010 -> 04:37 AM) I fail to see why you think Microsoft was a mess at E3 Pretty much answered the question. They had two conferences, yet focused almost the entire time on shovelware crap for Kinect that looks just awful. Their core games were cool, but there was literally nothing new announced and they were hardly showcased.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jun 15, 2010 -> 05:09 PM) Kinect looks to be pretty cool. Kinect looks just awful. From everything to the games to the name itself. It's marketing is a complete disaster too. And Microsoft was a mess at e3 while Nintendo had one of the better showings ever and Sony was decent. Kinect itself has no buttons and it doesn't even work if you sit down or have a coffee table in front of you. $150 for a piece of junk, all on the verge of Microsoft's investors wanting them to get out of the home console market. Kinect better not fail, but all signs point to it doing just that.

Official 2010 World Cup Thread
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 07:09 PM) I think it's pretty reasonable to believe that Slovenia could tie England so no offense but I'm rooting like hell for Algeria in this game. Slovenia is one of the biggest minnows of the entire tournament. I don't think they have much a shot at getting a result at all, but who knows with how England is playing now. Either way it shouldn't matter. US just has to play like their capable of playing.

Official 2010 World Cup Thread
QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 07:21 PM) Algeria getting something means U.S. is guaranteed moving on with a win. If not, you could still get all kinds of complications if Slovenia and England draw (although I find that to be unlikely). So I get them doing that in a sense. Yeah, but at this point I think you just have to assume US is in with a win, not with anything else. Placing doesn't matter either, with Group D in chaos. I think it'll be much easier playing an Algerian side with nothing to play for than one with hopes of advancing. You could always see them putting guys forward to expose our weak D.
