  1. Isn't Cheap Seats off the air now too?
  2. Roller Coaster Tycoon is maybe my favorite game ever. If you are to buy it, get number two, not three or four. Awesome game. So much customization and I can't tell you how many hours I have spent killing helpless AI by building half roller coasters(Or starving them, or locking them in the park, etc...)
  3. QUOTE(He_Gawn @ Oct 25, 2006 -> 08:39 PM) How's Benn going to help UI while hes playing for Weis? Please never take the arrogance argument when talking about recruits. It'll hurt you in the end.
  4. AND THE N-W-OHHHHHHH! Intriguing ending.
  5. LMAO at that Halloween Havoc segment.
  6. This is why the WWE's tag division has sucked lately. They do not know how to push a tag team. Cryme Tyme has just beat "the best" tag team in WWE twice in two weeks now. Where the hell do you go from there? Why not start them off against the lesser teams like the Highlanders or Cade and Murdoch?
  7. BROOKLYN BROOKLYN
  8. "He could be a quieter Ozzie Guillen" What, exactly, is the point then? But yeah, I fully condone him leaving.
  9. We played tackle football on frickin' blacktop and no one ever got hurt outside of the expected scrapes. Yet they wnat to ban tag....for what?
  10. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Oct 17, 2006 -> 10:42 PM) CJ Giles kicked off KU team, no reason given...suspicion involves his little CJ Giles runnnig around.. More time for DA and Jackson to step in. This could also be the scholly that gives us Kyle Singler, who knwsl More mysterious transfers/ kicking offs fron teams from Self. Hmmm...
  11. OMG CRYME TYME!!!!! MTFO!!!
  12. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Oct 17, 2006 -> 01:24 AM) They are going to need a really sweet draw and some guys stepping up. They'll do okay in the Big Ten and should still be tough at home, but the tourney is another story. Not really. They have two potential top-10 teams in Wisconsin and Ohio State, that's more than most conferences can say. Plus Michigan and Penn State also have some talent, and Illinois isn't a total dog. I just don't see why they are in such bad shape. They have arguably the best defensive team in the country with Frazier, Randle, Pruitt, and McBride on the floor. With the little scoring they'll need, they should be able to get from Jamar Smith, McBride and Pruitt. Their major problems are will be foul problems and the lack of a star player. Illinois is extremly deep, but they simply don't have anyone who has shown the ability to take over a game.
  13. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Oct 17, 2006 -> 01:17 AM) I don't see how they are going to make the Sweet 16 this year. Quoted for emphasis later. And if Illinois is in as much trouble as you think, well, then the Big ten conference is in MAJOR trouble.
  14. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 16, 2006 -> 03:40 AM) this team is not going to be anywhere near the Final Four unless they start getting the Sherron Collins, Eric Gordon, and Julian Wright's of the world. We'll agree to disagree. Strongly, strongly disagree.
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 16, 2006 -> 03:24 AM) Taylor...let me ask you this: if Kansas played Illinois this year 10 times on a neutral court, how many times would you predict Illinois would win? I'm sorry fathom, but that's just an unanswerable question. Predictions are predictions, but you are asking for an exact number of wins between two teams we haven't even seen play yet.
  16. I'll be updating My Big Ten Preview tommorrow for anyone who cares.
  17. Illinois' roster: Richard McBride- 4 Star propect, top 100 recruit Brian Randle- 4 star prospect, top 100 recruit Warren Carter- 4 star prospect, top 100 recruit Calvin Brock- 4 star prospect, top 100 rectcruit Shaun Pruitt- 4 star prospect, top 100 recruit Brian Carwell- 4 star prospect, top 100 recruit Richard Semrau(preinjury)- 5 star prospect, top 20 recruit Of the other 3 players on their roster since day one who are not top 100 recruits, two of them are expected to start this year with one of them being arguably the team's best player. The third was a top 100 football player coming out of high school. The moral here, obviously, is that Illinois has done a horrible job of bringing players into the program, and are deeply screwed.
  18. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Oct 15, 2006 -> 10:33 PM) Well, with all due respect, him or anyone else on here isn't a manager because we don't have the same oppurtunities and connections than Ozzie Guillen, someone who played the game and has all the connections in the world. I'm pretty sure fathom was just joking around.
  19. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 15, 2006 -> 09:18 PM) A.J. Stewart says it's pretty much a lock he's going to Kentucky over Illinois, per Rivals. The Bruce magic continues. Stop now. The fact that Weber even made Illinois into having a chance at Stewart is nothing short of amazing. The kid absolutly bleeds blue and white. Want proof? Well, there is a reason that the illiniboard.com forums, famous for their meltdowns, could absolutly care less upon hearing about this news. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Oct 15, 2006 -> 11:27 PM) So in other words, don't listen to the public, but trust everything you say. Yeah right. That works. I never said you had to trust me. I'm just saying believing every news bit to come out of this story is just idiotic.
  20. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Oct 15, 2006 -> 03:58 AM) Sure that fits right along with this... I'm sure his HS coach knew nothing of the information you seem to be locked into. Makes perfect sense. I would not believe anything coming from the public in this situation. This is college basketball recruiting, remember? Everyone will just try to save face. And if anyone actually believes that committing the day of Indiana Midnight Madness was not a scripted ending, I have to say that you are clearly blind.
  21. To clear something up, Gordon has been silently committed to IU for weeks now, although made no mention of this to anyone in the Illinois program. I've learned in some even greater detail about the story, and I can't help but think Gordon Sr is a slime ball as is Sampson for how he handled the situation. I've also learned the exact details behind KU's probation from a KU booster. Pretty funny story if anyone wants to hear it.
  22. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Oct 15, 2006 -> 12:07 AM) Not really. If it was mostly about coaching over talent, then how come the vast majority of talent wins out in the NCAA? Only team that did anything was George Mason. That's the only team ever. No one can possibly tell me, that the Illini, with the way its recruiting is going, is national championship contender material, nor are they final four material. Illinois certainly has better than mid-major talent. The comparison was ridiculous. Anyway, it is more than possible to win without great recruiting, although it certainly helps. Heck, Maryland won the whole thing without any burger boys on their roster.
  23. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 14, 2006 -> 03:05 PM) Missouri State should be better than UNI this year and it wouldn't surprise me at all if they finish higher than the Shocks either. Now if Hinson can actually get the Bears to the NCAA's this year, who knows but that team should be pretty darn good. If I had to guess right now though, I'd say: Creighton, SIU, Missouri State and Wichita State all get into the tournament this year. Taking Wichita State to the final 4 was my only blemish in my otherwise perfect bracket last year, but I have just as much confidence in them this year as I did with them last year. They are a top 15 team for sure, even with the loss of Paul Miller. Their only problem is a lack of hieght, as I don't believe they have a ready contributer over 6'8 this year.
  24. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Oct 11, 2006 -> 08:58 PM) Legends of the Hidden Temple http://www.pastblastin.com/
  25. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 13, 2006 -> 03:46 AM) You should be feeling lucky your a big name school. Smaller name ones have gotten 1 to 3 year postseason bans for offenses less serious. " Today the NCAA found many serious offenses committed by the University of Kentucky basketball program. As a result, Cleveland State will get the death penalty."
