Wow Beckham...I defend him more than anyone, but it might be time to try Getz/Nix at 3rd and put him at 2nd.

Might be time to pull Poreda if you want to try and comeback in this game. He continues to remind me so much of Neal Cotts when he got called up, it's not even funny. If Poreda tried to start a game in the majors, he'd need 100 pitches to get past the 4th inning.

Viciedo has had an awful month of July. I've been pretty critical of him this season (I think a lot of it had to deal with the expectations the organization had for him THIS YEAR). He needs to have a strong 2nd half for a lot of reasons.

Time for my Poreda comment from every appearance: if you can get good value for him, I have no problem trading him. I have no idea who was working the radar guns for him, but his velocity has become an urban legend.

Good stuff there. Buehrle sure did suck today.
