I love, absolutely love, Steve Stone's memory. The fact he remembers Galarraga coming in during Game 162 and giving up some base runners is something only a few people would remember.

There were a lot of bargains available towards the end of this offseason, and I guess we were out of money and couldn't sign anyone.

The NL West looks terrible right now. Webb and Kuroda are injured. I love the lineup of the Dodgers, but their starting pitching is pretty bad. The Braves and Cubs seem to be the class of the NL right now.

Something the Twins have done lately is bring up their high draft picks who are starters in the minors and then put them in the bullpen to help the big league team. This is where the awfulness that is Broadway/McCullough hurts our depth.
