  1. Ha, what a joke. These relievers are heartless.
  2. Aardsma can't be trusted in clutch situations. What a terrible hanging slider.
  3. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 19, 2007 -> 10:17 PM) This bullpen takes 5-10 years off my life without question. Don't worry, KW's going to upgrade it.
  4. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ May 19, 2007 -> 10:16 PM) Aaaaaaardsma gives up the leadoff triple to Theriot. Way to go Ozzie putting in Aardsma giving up the triple! I blame Ozzie for mismanaging the pen! /green Good grief, we get the f***ing point.
  5. Super....the bullpen in to blow another game. Aardsma's control is nowhere near what it used to be. Dye played that bad, as you have to go deep and then come in to hold them to a double it if hits the side wall.
  6. Some aggressive swings by Iguchi....great to see he's not feeling for the ball.
  7. I was so happy to see Wuertz out of the game.
  8. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ May 19, 2007 -> 10:04 PM) Well that must make you a bad Sox fan since you only remember the bad things. Some of my favorite threads are reminiscing about the most exciting homers/moments of the season.
  9. Just look outside fastball against Howry and hit it into the right center bleachers.
  10. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ May 19, 2007 -> 10:02 PM) Do keep these on a chalk board at home? Just a good memory.
  11. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ May 19, 2007 -> 10:01 PM) Jermaine Dye: Ball, Strike looking, Dye grounded into double play third to first, Uribe out at third. 1st pitch to Dye was called a ball, like I said GREAT INNING JAVY!!! I know it was a ball....doesn't mean it wasn't a great pitch to hit.
  12. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ May 19, 2007 -> 09:59 PM) Three of the others were yesterday. The 7th inning yesterday, the Morneau inning, the inning against the A's when Pods was left in, and the inning in that same game where he let Mackowiak bat with no outs and a runner on 3rd in the 7th inning against a lefty.
  13. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 19, 2007 -> 09:56 PM) He played right into Pinella's hand, Lou had to seriously start laughing when Uribe bunted as if to say...THANK YOU That was one of the 5 worst managed innings we've had this year.
  14. J. Jones in this situation scares me.
  15. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ May 19, 2007 -> 09:54 PM) f***ING OZZIE MAKING DYE HIT INTO A DP So instead of being sarcastic with every point, why not make actual comments about the game? Did you think Ozzie made the right call to have Uribe bunt, as he basically allowed Ohman to face lefties and Wuertz to face a righty? QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ May 19, 2007 -> 09:54 PM) And it was called a ball too It was a strike, and it was a get me over fastball right in Dye's wheelhouse.
  16. Ugh....good thing we tried to play smallball. Please get fired Ozzie.
  17. That first pitch was the best one we'll get to drive.
  18. QUOTE(29thandPoplar @ May 19, 2007 -> 09:51 PM) What do you do with Vazquez? Leave him in? Yes, give him one more batter to reach. The Cubs have some power from both sides of the bench today, so our relievers are going to have to get out someone who hits from a different side than they throw.
  19. Maybe Ozzie can blame his cheat sheet being wrong today about Ohman against lefties/righties?
  20. Here comes Wuertz.....not a very good match-up for Dye, as all he throws is low and away sliders.
  21. QUOTE(spiderman @ May 19, 2007 -> 09:49 PM) That's true, but Uribe is in a horrible funk at the plate. Please BB AJ Then put on a hit-and-run and make him focus on hitting it to the right side. Even if he got that bunt down, it was a stupid decision.
  22. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 19, 2007 -> 09:47 PM) AJ offers at ball three. f***... Ball four
  23. QUOTE(Brian @ May 19, 2007 -> 09:46 PM) Bunting was the right call, shame of Uribe. How do you figure? We're playing into the strengths of Ohman by having Uribe bunt.
  24. f*** you Ozzie....terrible managing. That's one of the dumbest bunt calls I've ever seen.
